  1. Thanks so much Linz. Its actually quite a lovely interview when read in full. I just love how that man can express his emotions so beautifully...an amazing talent he has. Oh and as far as retiring is concerned...he promised us in Melbourne that he wasn't retiring and that he would definately be back in Oz So we have nothing to worry about...yet :yahoo:
  2. Got back from Melbourne after an amazing weekend. Sunday night's show was fantastic, and even though I was way up the top of the stadium the sound was perfect and the view amazing...it was great having the roof closed :D . The crowd around me were were quite lifeless...not that they weren't enjoying it..just not many got up and danced which spoiled it a bit for me...but I guess thats what happens way up in the rafters. The gold standing area looked to be rocking though :D Got front row on Monday after lining up from 7 am and it was beyond words. He was on perfect form yet again and I even got a wink from him which gave me shivers down my spine. The crowd were totally with him and I could even see them having a blast in the stands. We broke the attendance record for telstradome that night and the noise was unbelievable during the whole concert. No sign of kylie but I wasn't expecting her and I really couldn't be arsed whether she was there or not. There was nothing different for the last show...except he didn't come down in the gondola thingy for some unknown reason. I was not as emotional as I was expecting but I think thats because he really left us with a positive message that he was not retiring and that he would definately be back...he gave us something exciting to look forward to unlike in 2003 when I thought I was farewelling him forever. Now that I am home, back at work, and I am feeling a bit flat and I am not quite ready to let go of it all yet. I reluctantly took off my armband this morning as I trudged into work, but I don't think I will take off my little $10 pendant...ever...what a little gem that is...I love it and was a real bargain. I kind of feel like I am carrying him with me everywhere now. I have had an amazing couple of weekends with our boy and there is just no-one like him. He means the world to me and he brings so much joy into my life. I have also met some amazing people which made my experience even more enjoyable. I can't wait to see what he has in store for us next :D
  3. Here is the hilarious bit about the smoking on youtube from sat night. I think its a bit out of sync...but just close your eyes and listen to him. I could have all night and he said he could have just stayed and chatted and forgot about the singing..bless im.
  4. Here are some from Sunday. I didn't take many and most of them are rubbish...but anyway. Proof...Cherrypie (top), me, and Cherrypie's friend Dan...AT THE FRONT..thanks girls for getting me there after queueing from 6.30 am :cheer: . http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0823.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0830.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0829.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0828.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0831.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0834.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0827.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0840.jpg I can't believe I was this close  http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0841.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0836.jpg Didn't take any closeups as I was clicking one handed lol, but I am happy that I captured some nice shots of the whole stage...the whole thing just looked spectacular from where we were.
  5. Here are some of my best pics from the Saturday night. Our view of the stage...perfect  http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0755.jpg His bum during Radio...perfect lol  http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0765.jpg During Radio http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0763.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0770.jpg The intense look http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0786.jpg Jesus :daisy: http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0793.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0785.jpg One of my fave shots...him standing in front of the screen http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0789.jpg Him talking to me :silly: http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0794.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0813.jpg Flying Robbie http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0815.jpg Pretending to be emotional at the end  http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Sydney%20Photos/100_0817.jpg They're not the best photos but they hold very special memories for me. Will post up Sundays later.
  6. Yes it will Nicky  . I was floating on cloud 9 last night and I woke up a wreck this morning. My feet are a mess and I have been shattered all day...but happy. How people do it 2 days in a row is beyond me. It is also brilliant knowing that I am doing it all again in Melbourne next weekend. This is going to be a great week, having already experienced 2 shows, but still having 2 more to look forward to. Will have to give the feet some tlc before the big line up again next Monday. Still waiting for the hubby to upload the photos  .
  7. That review is rubbish and I am pleased to see that the vast majority are saying how fantastic the shows were and that she is a tosspot  . I put in a comment too. Theres always gotta be one to ruin it doesn't there. Its obvious that the sound quality was hugely determined on where you were sitting. For me the sound was perfect on both nights. I payed particuarly attention to it too as it was one of the things I was worried about. Rob put on 2 brilliant shows and I refuse to let articles like this ruin it for me.
  8. Well I am back after the most amazing weekend. I am not the best with words but he was absolutely phenomenal this weekend...both nights. And I will also say what a load of dribble that above article is  . Where was he sitting....the sound was absolutely superb and Rob was hilarious. We had IS seats on Sat night and I couldn't have picked better seats myself. On the left hand side looking at the stage, opposite the circle about 5 rows from the front. I was almost just as close as some down on the field...thank you IS. The people around us were brilliant and were up on their feet from the beginning of the close encounters theme until the lights went up at the end and we eventually accepted that he wasn't gonna come back. It makes such a difference when everyone around you is singing and dancing just as much as you, and I looked around regularly and the whole stadium were always on their feet dancing...it was a magnificient sight. The show was even more spectacular than I imagined. The stage, lighting, and pyrotechnics were breathtaking, and the sound was absolutely perfect. The man himself was relaxed, happy, joking, having fun, always smiling, and his voice sounded amazing. My husband and I had an absolutley amazing experience. Day 2 was line up day and it was an absolute joy. Thanks so much to Monsoonangel and kianakat from TRWS (you are both such amazing girls) and especially cherrypie who adopted me for the day (you are such a beautiful girl and it was a pleasure to meet you). We were in the front 'pen' thank goodness (thanks to cherrypie getting there at 6.30 ) and there were probably only about 50 people in that bit. The guys we met in line were absolute gentlemen and they took great care of us...thank you so much and I hope you make it on the site. It's also great to meet guys who appreciate his talent as much as you. It was great to finally meet Tania and friends during the day and I look forwad to lining up with you next weekend . Getting through the gates was handled well by the security as our small group was let in first so there was no mad stampede (for us anyway) and we made it to the front at the left hand side of the circle quite easily (it was a brilliant spot ). I cannot express what it was like to see him so close...he is just so beautiful . He was on equally top form Sunday night too and to see the full effects on the stage was absolutely amazing. Still happy and chatty and hilarious and sang brilliantly. The crowd were well into it where we were.....the only thing thats missing is that you can't see the full crowds response. He didn't do Kids but sang a bit of Feel at the end which was just beautiful. It was funny...my hubby met me and we had a 30 minute walk to the apartment and he kept telling me to slow down I was so pumped. We had a bight at Mcdonalds and when we got up my feet were absolutley killing me and when I took my shoes off I had a huge busted blister and the skin underneath that was starting to blister....funny how I didn't even notice it until later lol. So I had an amazing weekend. Our man is beyond compare and the whole country is in love with him at the moment and I couldn't be more proud . I have some good pics which I will post up later, including a great one of the birdies
  9. Tonight Jupiter. We only live 2 hours from Sydney so we are going to leave in a few hours. Sitting tonight then the marathon line up tomorrow. 12 and a half hours to go until he pops up through that floor :yahoo: I am also going to the 2 shows in Melbourne next weekend. Never been to Melbourne before so looking forward to having a sticky beek around.
  10. I am going to 4 as well -_- But only 2 standing, so that doesn't make me as greedy as ossy :P .
  11. It's Robbie-eve :cheer: . I can't believe it it's here already. Hubby and I are driving down in the morning. We have seats for Sat night and then standing on Sunday. I am so emotional I feel like I will burst into tears when he pops up through that stage and I lay eyes on him for the first time  . And Osiris I hope you and Tripper have a fantastic weekend. Sydney is a brilliant place...if you don't have to live there :D .
  12. Let the c**p begin :arrr: Its quite hard for me as I was never a Take That fan and never will be, so what is about to follow in the tabloids is going to do my head in. I think I will avoid this thread for a while ;) .
  13. At number 4 in Oz . I expect it to keep holding nicely until the tour is over, and then it's Christmas, so hopefully a few more weeks in the top 10 for us
  14. Excellent :cheer: Thanks  . Another number 1 notched up then :yahoo: It was number 1 in Sanity this week so I am hoping he will be number 1 on Sunday but with U2 touring this week it will be tough Any ideas on numbers..I know..I'm nosey  .
  15. So how did this dvd sell last week. Is it number 1 in the Uk dvd chart? Haven't heard a peep.
  16. What a brilliant evening I have had. The kids at birthday parties..the hubby at work...I have been bouncing around the loungeroom watching our amazing guy. I thought at first I might be a bit disappointed in the fact that there would be no talking and joking in between songs, but I have to say that every single performance was so superb that I didn't even think about it. Not having seen any Manchester or Koln footage at all, well this was amazing viewing for me. What amazing performances they were  . Leeds of course was great and it was nice seeing the different perspectives of Knebworth, especially loved how they kept the camera on him the whole time during Feel, then only showed the crowd during Angels. The second DVD is also superb. There are no words for the Abbey road gig. He looked stunning and sang to perfection  . The forum gig is one of my all time faves and seeing him in those early days again with Fil and the fairly small band with an intimate audience bought tears to my eyes. What a rocker he was back then . How I long one day to experience a small intimate gig just with us obsessive fans who know every single word. All the performances were amazing on DVD 2 and many TV performances I hadn't seen before. I hadn't seen the Brits performance properly before and I had no idea just how amazing it was, how sexy was he with Kylie doing Kids (what a body  ), and it was great to see White Xmas on the tele too. One small gripe I have wth the DVD is I just wish they would have written what the gig was at the beginning of each performance...but I am sure after a few watchings I will know them off by heart. This dvd is a great package of brilliant performances and I thoroughly loved every second of it....and just when I thought I couldn't possibly love him anymore  .
  17. Rudebox - 8 Viva life on Mars - 9 Lovelight - 9 Bongo Bong - 9 She’s Madonna - 10  Keep On - 9 Good Doctor - 8 The Actor - 11  Never touch that switch - 7 Louise - 5 We’re the Pet Shop Boys - 9 Burslem Normals - 7 Kiss Me - 9 The 80’s -10  The 90’s - 10  Summertime - 7 Dickhead - 8 I love this album
  18. I really hope this is right. This is a perfect choice for a single and in the new year he will have the time to promote the c**p out of it.
  19. These are both superb, but I chose The 80's. The music is slightly more appealing to me and the gaps spoil The 90's a bit...love it though..I still get a lump in my throat everytime I hear it :(
  20. I hope we are all downloadng and buying multiples this week. I so want him to beat Timberlake :arrr: .
  21. I have just ventured onto Amazon for the frst time to read the reviews...preparing myself for the worst...but I was delighted to see that the majority of them were positive . After the initial onslaught I think now at least 75 % of the reviews were very complimentary, rating it at least 4 or 5 stars :cheer: .
  22. Well I absolutely adore ABBA.....but not Robbie singing it  . I wouldn't mind if they wrote with him though or if he snitched some samples like Madonna did .
  23. Here are the links from the Hamish and Andy interview from last week http://rapidshare.com/files/1733629/200611...iewilliams3.mp3 http://rapidshare.com/files/1733627/200611...iewilliams2.mp3 http://rapidshare.com/files/1730135/200611...iewilliams1.mp3 Now I don't mean to alarm you all but they actually ask him....wait for it....about the music on the album :o. Its shorter but still a good interview :D Thanks to Diane at RWAP for the links
  24. I think it will be on for a few days at least. There are other older interviews on there to listen again.
  25. You can listen again here http://www.2dayfm.com.au/shows/kyleandjackieo He co-hosted the show for about 45 minutes. Nothing of any real substabce but it is hilarious, and a bit rude...but he of course gets away with it  . ENJOY :cheer:
