  1. We know as well that these awards are fixed anyway, so it goes without saying that this is given. Maybe if the Brits Academy put a little "incentive" in for Robbie to turn up, then good on him..but if not I hope he gives it the thumbs down. Take That/Oasis and Robbie... :o
  2. Quite agree with you Jupiter, why should Robbie turn up when he so deserves an award too, but won't get one. I can understand the Brits Academy wanting Robbie to do it, because its a rating winner and a huge scoop to boot. I don't want Robbie turning up just because of ratings. I also don't want to see him relegated to second fiddle behind Gary Barlow either. He walked away from Take That because of a nudge and an implication, and they let him, so I hope he doesn't do it. I am a Robbie fan of the solo kind, although I do like Take That, but not together.
  3. Wow is Robbie really the biggest selling solo artist in the UK who hails from the UK.. Scotty, Jupiter you should put that title in the new forum banner because that is some achievement. :cheer:
  4. I think they could Dino. :) I would like to thank them for Beautiful World, which I got for Christmas, I love 4 tracks in particular, I can't remember the titles as its in my car..the listing is 1, 2, 7 and Jason's last song. Very good. The rest so far is merging into one...of course with repeated listens that may change, so I decided yesterday to put back Rudebox, and blow we what a blast that was. I can now say I think RUDEBOX is terrific, well done Robbie what a breath of fresh air that re-listen was. You really do not know how good something really is until you take it away. Scotty I have been converted. RUDEBOX album is ace...and so is Robbie and its all thanks to TT lol.
  5. I have just seen the New Year in with Robbie..starting with Leeds and ending just before midnight with his Top 10. Couldn't think of anything better. :D Also while dropping my lad into Bournemouth tonight a group of lads were crossing the road and they were all dressed in black with a white tie, they were a group of "Robbie's" and when they noticed my RW sticker on the windscreen they gave me the biggest cheer and yelled Robbie's name as I made my way home. It sort of made the trip worth it, it certainly put a smile on my face and I actually waved at them lol
  6. Oh bless thanks for the replies, don't worry Robbieca I would never ever change my beliefs just to please others. Robbie reeled me in and he's got me hook line and sinker..and nothing will make me change. The Robbie Banner is here to stay and I am very proud of it. :D and even prouder to have had the privilage to be in that crowd.
  7. HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone :cheer:
  8. Do you know reading through this thread made me realise just how right you are. :D I don't post all the time here, but I do make a contribution, and I have in other areas of Buzzjacks and I wondered why nobody responded to any post I made, now I know, I shouldn't have a Robbie Banner. :( I do find it rather a shame, I like to discuss factual topics happening in the world today, and even made pretty balanced views when it comes to musical opinion, but that banner means I am not worth that opinion. I find that very disappointing for a general forum and will remain out on a limb because I am a Robbie fan and not part of the "in crowd" I do hope that everyone has a Happy New Year though, I hold no grudges lol..I just won't dip my toes where they are not wanted.
  9. Well done everyone..great job.
  10. The next single is Shine, which in my opinion, is awful. It should have been Reach Out, I really like that track.
  11. It was the UK Times, typed out by me on TRWS and the journo was Caitlin Moran. :D
  12. He is getting great reviews in Australia, which I knew he would. :) A bit of cheer from what he is getting here. :(
  13. I am gutted... :( What is wrong with me, I like Take That, but I thought "An Audience with" was not the best one I have seen and I was so looking forward to watching it. I have to admit these shows are either very good or very bad, I can't decide which this one was. No real questions were asked. Far too many people on stage, so much going on, they don't did all that junk. I'd hate for Robbie to do one of these shows, although I suspect his questions would be alot more cutting edge. A tad disappointed. I also watched the Ultimate Tour afterwards, they are still very good, but I now know it was the Robbie element originally, and I missed him so much tonight. When he appeared on the hologram and his voice rang out, the excitement returned for me for it only to fade when he did. They are a great 4 piece but it was as a 5 piece that rang my bells. I will continue to watch them and take an interest in them as I did before, I just had a question answered tonight that I hadn't asked before. Now I know.
  14. I really hope its not true what I am reading. :(
  15. Oh I can see it now, thanks very much. He could be in my sack anytime he likes.. Very nice. :D
  16. Where? I can't see it..doh :(
  17. Can you just imagine. Up Close and Personal with Rudebox
  18. Brilliant performance by Robbie, but you are right Jupiter not a stadium type song I don't think, but then again I don't think there are any others on Rudebox suitable either.
  19. I have indeed jupiter and I haven't finished yet. Oh lordy no.
  20. Not such a great review in The Sunday Express.. 2 Stars The former boy band seem to have stepped out of Robbie Williams's reject shop in search of their "new sound". Three songs in and for some reason, they've taken lead vocals away from Gary Barlow. Shine sounds like Take That copying the Scissor Sisters copying Bowie copying the Beatles, and most songs are formulaic bores drowning in orchestration.
  21. Jupiter, I love The Summer Wind too? I love swing, I always have, and Robbie performs it brilliantly, but I think since he last did it, everyone has, so not too sure if its not been done to death. I also love a couple of songs from Pal Joey, which funnily enough was a Frankie part.
  22. Brilliant, just want we need to hear. :yahoo:
  23. Exactly thisispop, that is why Robbie's fans are so upset and angry as well, I usually laugh at both of them and their pops at each other, but this is something else again. However, I do recall reading that Robbie is a lot stronger than people think he is, I hope he is and he is strong enough to dismiss Noel and this comment with the contempt it deserves.
  24. I don;t think he should release any albums, he's churning out too many too quickly, we don;t mind Robbie overload, but you can overdo it with regard to the general public. I love Swing, and I would love to see Robbie perform it again, but its been done to death by everyone now.
  25. I know they have pops at each other, and I know its promo time for Oasis, but this really is crossing over the line. Its an unforgiveable comment. But The Sun should really really be questioned if they have also published something that overstep their code of conduct too. I have no words to describe what I think about these two tossers.
