  1. Really then, if on-line sales don't count towards the Charts, what is the point of having a Chart at all, in the future most sales will be made on the internet, so it all seems pointless not to count every download and album bought in this way. Its very frustrating.
  2. It could have been worse. :D He does debut at No. 1 in the Euro Chart and No.2 in the Global
  3. I think he would be chuffed about that, sandwiched between two football clubs..couldn't happen to a more dedicated footie fan. :D
  4. They made a big mistake going on American TV if I recall. They had a docu about them recently and that is where it started to go all wrong. I think it was a childrens series.
  5. Well fingers crossed he hasn't lost out to that awful woman Amy Winehouse..or whatever her name is.
  6. What I cannot get over is the way it came across, it looked so fixed, they didn't even act it out well.

Very good, I like it, it reminds me of James Blunt's "High" - I was a bit disappointed that it's still all about Gary Barlow though. I am sure it will be No. 1.
  9. You're so right Twinkle and Aeon, it actually looked SO set up, it was the worst case of flagrant backslapping self promotion of presenting, performing, and award receiving I have ever watched at an award show, and I though Edinburgh was bad. It was a pleasure to turn it off.
  10. He said "Its a done deal lads" meaning he got what he was after.. :D A lads comment amongst lads.
  11. I am sorry to hear the Justin Timberlake slagged off Robbie and I know everyone can be taken out of context, but never in the month of Sunday's would I say that JT is a cheeky chappy, takes himself far too seriously I think, well that was the impression he gave me on that Parky interview..jeez. Laughed myself silly Jupiter over the piccie's. Classic.
  12. JT won Best Male too.. :puke2: A repeat of the Edinburgh show..all geared around Justin Timberlake, the American Awards for Europe.
  13. I haven't laughed so much in ages...Only Robbie could do an interview like that..LOL. The Aussie presenters are so much different than ours..not so sarcastic. Give me a Robbie interview anyday, beats anyone else handsdown, I mean did you see the Justin Timberlake chat on Parky..jeez... Come back Robbie we need your personality.
  14. Sorry Scotty, Happy Birthday :cheer: sorry for missing it. A Mexican member on TRWS posted that Rudebox was No. 1 in Mexico..surely he can't be wrong can he It would be great if he was right. :D
  15. :cheer: well done to both. :cheer:
  16. Something I have said myself Jupiter, they go and see him perform and don't always support what puts him on stage in the first place. :(
  17. Don't think so Jupiter. ;)
  18. It would sound about right to me Scotty. I would have hoped for more, that is terribly low for him, but I won't let it spoil my enjoyment of Robbie getting his 8th No. 1. I do hope that it continues to sell, like you said, if it doesn't :puke2: :cheer:
  19. Brill news, thats perked me up abit..well done Australia and Robbie.
  20. Well either way, we should be congratulating him on his 8th No.1..that is some achievement. I do hope he does manage over the years to top Elvis, and thats saying something coming from me, because I am a huge Elvis fan too, but Robbie swings it for me plus he is a Brit doing it. Go for it Robbie.

I even prefer Michael Ball's version of this song than this, at least he put passion and motivation into his performance of it. This is pants.
  22. thanks Scotty. So do you know what the sales figure are for Friday? I was working it out from 108,000 on Thursday. So I guess it must be about 118,000 now. Which is very worrying. Especially if it stays one week at the top. At least IC did that with 375,000 sales. On those low figures for Rudebox why would it stay a 2nd week. It will make the difference for the end of year chart too. Will Robbie be featured ;)
  23. I agree too, I know he needs a break, and he deserves one, but he can't expect us to do all the work lol.. I would like to see him come home and give us a treat, he should consider doing the early evening TV shows, Meatloaf has done alot of promo this week, thats why Jackie is panicking. In relation to the chart positions, when is the cut off time Scotty? Saturday or Sunday.
  24. My apologies Scotty, that was very impressive figs for IC then, somehow I don't think RB will match it then, there has been no promo for the album here, apart from a bit of radio, its a very low key release by EMI in the UK. They have me scratching my head in bewilderment.
  25. Scotty, sorry but I think your hopes for the first day sales are a bit too much, I am sure its far too high, even at Robbie's peak popularity I didn't think he would have sold over 100,000 on day 1. As I say I could be wrong, I would love him to match all your targets, but I don't think it will. I got my 3 copies today, one for the car, one for indoors, and one for my son, and I haven't even heard the whole album yet. Regardless if this album is a "folly" or not, there is nobody like Robbie. :D
