Rudebox: the cover of the album
I like the cover and I think the packaging is as important as the contents. and Robbie is blessed with both.

September 2006 News
I don't in a way Twinkle, because we know that Robbie has very attractive young ladies down the front writing all over the chests. But they have been going around doing interviews that they don't think it was a good idea to have supported Robbie. He's not "cool" according to them, and his audience is not their audience. Well they think they are "Cool" I suppose, but are still playing to a half empty stadium and it probably has got their goat. Twits.

Oh forgot Our Love, I did like that one too.

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
I'm very sad about it, although I am not a lover of Rudebox, It hasn't had much airplay to support it has it, no wonder he could have said he will quit the business. He's been lambasted for too long now by the critics despite record breaking achievements, and now we have to put up with Basement Jaxass doing the same. That Editorial in the Music Week smacked of a turn around before they lose the most profitable commercial star this country has got. Since when does an editor sing the praises of someone, from his lyric writing, to his achievements, unless they know he has been pushed too far and could turn his back and walk away. I am worrying about the album now.

Lonestar Rising
Best B side he has done in a while, so much better than Family Coach. Very adult vibe to it..can't stop playing it.

September 2006 News
Well Basement Jaxass are still digging a hole for themselves today, still having a pop at Robbie and his audience. Personally having read it I have now come to the conclusion that they cannot understand why they are not reaching the crowd. So they blame the type of audience Robbie attracts, can someone be so kind and tell me what kind of audience they do attract. Many thanks. They have now said they will never be a support for anyone else again. boo hoo.

David Beckham
I think also that while they are friends, David has become a fan of his music. Bless him

The Crocodile Hunter
It was I guess, he did walk a dangerous line. But he was such a character and I am shocked and saddened to hear that he had died.

Glasgow, Scotland 1st and 2nd Sept
without doubt, lol..but I just may borrow the foot long needle beforehand and jab it in the direction of the very rude and offensive Basement Jax. I can see another banner in the making.

is he singing some of the new songs?
oops forgot Feel. Burning Up his new album isn't out yet, so no he isn't doing any of the unreleased songs. We have that still to come.

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
Thats a bit disappointing isn't it. I had hoped it would have been higher, but after all the slating its had, I guess it had an effect. Its doing brilliant in Europe, so funny how his homeland are letting him down.

Free Dublin gig
I've got mine, the only thing that worries me is, I am not Irish. I just got a horrible feeling that could be a one of the previso's even though I was at that show. I hope not though because I would be there in a flash. :yahoo: and next year would suit as well.

September 2006 News
Oh thanks Scotty, I really hope he does return to Dublin and that the same conditions apply. I am not doing anything much next year. As for Basement Jax, I am really ticked off with them to be honest, they have been very offensive about Robbie in the Sun yesterday, and now his audience. I really really hope I am not too close to them at any of the MK gigs. Quite frankly, Robbie can overlook it if he wants too, but I don't have too. I think they have a bloody cheek, they don't have to support him because I wouldn't miss them if they stuck to their opinions and b***ered off. A few boos will be going their way.

September 2006 News
So do I Twinkle, it's really going to awful for them, Its such a shame for both the true fans and of course for the artist, who sees empty seats at a sold out gig. :(

is he singing some of the new songs?
He does, he does a mix of old and new. Out of the newer songs he does Radio, Tripping, Sin Sin Sin, Make Me Pure, Advertising Space, Rudebox. Mixed with Rock DJ, Angels, Monsoon, Let Me Entertain You, Come Undone, Strong, Millenium and She's the One plus covers of Me and my Shadow and Back for Good. forgive me if I missed any out. Its early and I haven't had my morning coffee.

Lonestar Rising
Thank you Twinkle I liked it, it hooked me straight away but again it could be anyone singing it, although I can hear its Robbie, but his voice is too electronic to hear his usual Robbie vocal Magic. But I like it.

Thanks Jupiter for your review, and I am so thrilled it went well and you had an amazing time. and so pleased the weather held out. I am really hoping that the English crowds are as good as the Scottish ones are, they have always loved Robbie haven't they..I have a flag that says so lol. He feeds off the crowd, so it pays to be loud and I can imagine the atmoshphere too with all the hats banners and lights. I really hope he feels the love at Leeds and Milton Keynes. :yahoo:

Robbie: "I'm competitive. I want to win"
and some non Robbie fans would too Mikey. :) It would be like all those comps they run for exclusive radio gigs, and then these people have the gall to say that they are not particularly Robbie fans, but that doesn't stop them going when they know they will get a close encounter with the man himself. :puke2: and more :puke2:

Glasgow, Scotland 1st and 2nd Sept
I hope your headache has gone by the morning Jupiter, and have a brilliant time and fingers crossed the weather is not going to spoil the party. Give him a big warm Scottish welcome. The Hampden Roar isn't it..I recall him saying something about that in 2001. I think our man needs to feel the love at the moment.

August 2006 News
Can you imagine a pop scene without him in it..boring comes to mind. I know he keeps saying this type of thing, but looking at it objectively I can see that it could be beginning to cross his mind. Tour finished at the end of the year, T Mobile was an 18 month agreement, second recording contract he's going through at a fine pace and could in principle be nearing the end then. Why does he want to continue putting himself through hoops when he is financially secure and at the top of his game right now. I would be thinking through my options too if it were me. He knows the score and just possibly he has had enough of the Louis Walsh(es) of this world So all his "haters" will be pleased while we his "lovers" will be absolutely gutted if he ever does decide to "leave us"

Someone help me :P
I have tickets for Milton Keynes if anyone is interested.

Close Encounters Tour 2006
You are right Jupiter, your calculator is not deceiving you lol..my sis was not listening properly, he said he had sold 3million tickets which I think means for all the announced gigs.
