The Close Encounters Tour 2006
http://usera.imagecave.com/robstwo/CloseEncounters-copy.jpg Here is the picture that accompanied the article in the Star today. I will come back in a mo to put in the text that I have just put on TRWS See yer.. :D CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE ROBBIE KIND Alien Tune to Launch World Gigs. edited Robbie Williams will arrive on stage to the eerily iconic alien tune from Close Encouters for his world tour. Rob 32, will appear in a puff of smoke when he kicks off the tour in Dublin on June 9th. He is taking inspiration from magician mate Derren Brown, 35, and big name illusionists like David Copperfield. Rob's fascinated with all things magical and mysterious and he's incorporating many elements into the show. He wants this one to be a real spectacle with aspects of an illusionist's show. The current idea is for him to be raised onto the stage on a platform in a puff of smoke, making it seem as if he's appeared from nowhere. For 30 seconds beforehand, the beeps from Close Encounters will blast out over the speakers. Meanwhile, the September dates of the tour, originally scheduled for Wembley Stadium have been moved to Milton Keynes. Personally I can't wait to see this show. Rob Williams isn't my favourite artist, but he's certainly an entertainer. If he's given his head and allowed to get carried away with spacecraft and such, we could have a truely memorable set of gigs on our hands this summer.

Take That Re-Union Tour
I have Scotty, now thats saying something as I wasn't into boy bands really. :D I think East 17 are playing the Take That card a bit too. Although I think that TT have played the RW card as well. A friend of mine went to see them and she told me that there is a 5th mike always placed at the side of the stage, in full view..its very clever play. The will he or won't he card..maybe one day it will be used. :)

Robbie to help more county groups Community groups in and around Stoke-on-Trent are being urged to apply for cash from Robbie Williams' charity. Give it Sum has handed out £3m to local projects during its five-year history and wants to help more. It is holding an information day at Vale Park on Thursday so people can find out how to bid for a grant. Robbie's mum, Jan Williams, and Gilly Green manage the fund and are staging the information event to get more people to apply. Karen Bowen, chair of the Townsend Residents Community Association which received £18,000, said it was not difficult to apply. Robbie, who was born in Stoke-on-Trent, has raised funds for the charity he set up with the help of Comic Relief. Acknowledgement to therobbiewilliamssite.com and BBC News

Sin Sin Sin - Out May 22nd
http://the-raft.com/assets/news/news_3071.jpg Robbie's Sin Sin Sin is Winner! Third single from Intensive Care album out 22nd May! 'Sin Sin Sin' is just over 4 minutes of 80s pop pleasure. It's a confessional song and was one of the first tracks that Robbie wrote with collaborator Stephen Duffy. Duffy said, "As soon as we'd completed this track, I thought we might just have a future together." The video to 'Sin Sin Sin' was shot in Cape Town by Vaughan Arnell who also directed the Robbie classics 'Angels', 'Rock DJ' and 'Millennium'. The 'spiritual' promo sees Robbie adorning a full beard and beads, as a guru 'figurehead' of a commune full of pregnant women! Robbie's World Tour kicked off in Durban, South Africa on 10th April. The 44 date tour will see Robbie visit 14 different countries and perform to over 2.6 million fans worldwide. 'Sin Sin Sin' is out on the 22nd May 2006.

Sin Sin Sin - Out May 22nd
Well I am back..watched it. He looks gorgeous in it doesn't he.. I am still thinking about thinking on this one, I am not sure I like the concept at all, not my kind of thing, although parts of it I like better than others..hate the beginning and I don't like the Moses thing. I do like the percussion addition to the track though. :D

Is it Millenium Stadium or Milton Keynes?

UNICEF - Soccer Aid (2006 - 2025)
I have to agree with your smilies in your post Jupiter, how did Robbie end up with Gasgoigne  at "The Match" last year, he had an open goal with no other players around him and missed every shot LOL..in the end his mate BillyBigBelly, sorry cannot remember his name..but its something like that, had to come on and do it for him LOL. You can buy tickets for a warm up match between Robbie's England side v England Legends taking place on Tuesday 23rd May at Craven Cottage Fullham on the run up to the Old Trafford event on the Saturday. Tickets for that are 15.00 plus booking fee. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/football_news_latest_7315.html

May 2006 News
It is a great read Scotty about his achievements. About the PV dedication, trust the flippin Sun, about typical of our press, A club want to honour him and they have to be snide about it, mind you it does read funny. I mean how can you go from a stand or hospitality room to a refreshment kiosk..it has to be the first two so as not to look daft, how about the street named after him, thats more in keeping I would of thought. When Robbie gave his donation I think it was on the priviso of having a youth centre for Asperger sufferers, so they could name that part after him.
