Lengthy interview with Gary Barlow
Robfan I so agree with how you see the TT/Robbie history, but you try putting that across to a TT fan. Robbie did behave badly, but it was possibly a cry for attention or help, and what did they do, suggested he leave, which he did, and did anyone of them check out for him immediately afterwards. Nope. So in reality not one of them cared about Robbie in the aftermath of his leaving. It is always easy with hindsight but I if I were to put myself in Robbie's place, I wouldn't call one single one of them a friend. Not even Mark, although I know he is a sweet guy who has felt guilt about not picking up that phone when possibly he should have done. So on one hand you have the TT fans who feel that Robbie treated GB/Howard/Jason and Mark badly, which of course he did in bitterness. And you have the RW fans who view it alternatively and feel that Robbie, deserving or not, was left to flounder without support in the immediate aftermath, which I find I cannot dismiss lightly either. I could argue till I am blue in the face, especially liking TT and loving RW but each and everytime I am reading more about what GB says in press conferences and interviews, convinces me I am right.

Thank for those Scotty. Some there I hadn't seen before.

Press/Radio/TV appearances
It won't be Robbie Tessa. I read about The Beatles are making all their back catalogue available to download. So I suspect it will be Sir Paul. eek.

SHOCK NEWS ABOUT ROBBIE!
I hate to say this and of course I could be out on a loop here. BUT it is April the 1st you know. And why would they film it in North Yorkshire for goodness sake. I loved Calamity Jane but its all about Chicagie you know. The Windy City. US of A. North Yorkshire is more Wuthering Heights. Acutally Robbie would make a good Heathcliffe I think. Having put a dampner on it, I still think he should be in a films.lol

March 2007 News
Jo Lo oh for goodness sake, there is a UK born and bred star getting a record 6th award and they talk about it as a "ps" on a US act. I give up. As for the article about Robbie's regret saying "I'm rich beyond my wildest dreams" when he signed his record deal. I find this comment intriguing. I've had to look elsewhere for happiness and I've got it, but it's a difficult one to talk about. does anyone else?

Next Studio Album
I agree with thisispop and his comments, thanks for posting it. If Robbie releases anything this year it will be, I think, to say goodbye to EMI and get shot of them..just like Macca.

March 2007 News
No you are right Scotty Angels and Robbie live to us is unbeatable and unbelievable and to be fair most critics acknowledge that in reviews of any Robbie gig and performance. Unforgettable moment they say. But I am sure anyone attending a JB gig would follow the same pattern for YB. Although I haven't read that it is an inspiring moment in any reviews I have read. Good luck to him on his second album.

March 2007 News
Perhaps the reviewer was meaning that both Beautiful and Angels commanded the same popularity, I am sure Angels was equally played on the radio just like James Blunts song has. Angels chorus soars and hit a cord that to me is inspirational and unforgettable and is a great song to boot. JB Beautiful is not quite in the same league, but it does have meaning behind it and is also a very melodic song, but it doesn't have the passion. I think that is why Angels wins with me, apart from the Robbie influence..the song is inspirational and moving. I can't say I have swooned at JB to be honest, doesn't do it for me in anyway, vocally or visually, but aren't they being a bit previous. JB has his second album out soon, that will tell if this theory is right or not. On the American debate dazzleland posted. I agree with most of those comments as to why Robbie failed there, but can someone tell him, that to get airplay over there is another huge problem as well.

Take That Vs Robbie
What a daft topic I know all of TT songs as much as I know Robbie's and they are in a totally different league, and I don't think fairness comes into it. Taste does. How can you say Pray is a better track than No Regrets, or Could It Be Magic better than Let me Entertain You. LMEY has become a signature tune, Could it be Magic is more associated with Barry Manilow than TT. I Found Heaven against Lazy Days totally different concepts and composition. jeez - you have got me going now lol..you even have a cover over an original song for crying out loud, no comparision. I do like Never Forget and Everything Changes but the latter is Robbie anyway. But how the hell you can put the god awful Shine over the brilliant Come Undone says it all really. Come Undone is pure class. Popcorn against credible gritty rock I am afraid I do not know any of the Gary Barlow singles so cannot compare those at all. So here is my score. I think you will get the responses you favour more on the TT forum Andy. Take That = 1 Robbie = 24

I am sure he will be chuffed, I know I am, what a nice change to read something positive about him in relation to the music side of Robbie.

Everytime We Say Goodbye: Live
Jups it was great, I have had this on audio disc for years, and I always wondered what the bang was and the laughing and now I know..it was funny and I love this song, its very hard to sing with just a piano, and I think he did it in his own Robbie way..absolutely wonderful.

INNER SANCTUM RENEWAL
I wouldn't dream of not renewing. I am in regardless, fair weather or foul and I don't even need to be tempted really. Although I am not in love with the site and I hardly go on it, but I belong to it and can't think of not being so. If you get the drift.
