Re the Eurovision Song Contest, I think Daz is right, we will probably never win this again, no matter if we had the best song ever sung by the best live act ever. Who is Fergie? I thought it meant the Duchess of York.

I am not surprise its dropped like a stone, apparently its not even played on the radio, if ever there was a conspired effort to dismiss him this is it. Its not fair, and the Download Charts only make one hit wonders most of the time..The day of the Superstar has truly gone, and you know what the Industry will suffer in the long run. Most income these days comes from live performing and like an article stated that I posted up a few weeks back you cannot download the live experience. So all these Download wonders will eventually dry up that market at the Industry's cost. I am pleased that sales of Rudebox are continuing. :yahoo: he's been hard done by this time. RF4L I do agree that Robbie has other countries where sales are better for him, but unfortunately where we lead, the rest follow, so in time Europe, Australia will go the same way as us. If only he had your country, it would make up for some of the lost sales here, although I have read that Rudebox has done rather well in the US.

Well Robbie was young wasn't he, but he even had the lot then, style, facial expressions and appeal. Thanks for putting it up and it is one I haven't seen before,

I know RF4L thats why I have always hated unfair comments about Robbie, because it does send out vibes, and I knew that there would be a campaign against him somehow. :puke2: The sad bit though is while Take That are around his name will pop up and in the negative. The way it has gone lately for Robbie, I really cannot see him joining TT now. How can he, because I know how it would read, and that would be shocking after someone has made a bigger name for himself out of the band. So the press have moreorless scuppered that plan, and ruined it for all. :puke2:

Well I am annoyed that it only got to No.16 and even more annoyed about Sky News..but there is not alot that can be done about it. Bloody TT, and I like them, or did, if they weren't around they wouldn't be used as a battering ram against him. I agree with you Jupiter about Shine its absolutely s**t :puke2: I gave Beautiful World away today, only played it a couple of times and its been relegated to the back of the glove box of my car, so I knew I would probably never play it again.

I wouldn't have given the first article the time of day, it doesn't appear to even sound like a journalist, if it is, then I am changing jobs. Very annoying the second one though..I am getting cheesed off with all this bad vibe everyone is pitching in on, how can all the reviews I have read that say these singles from Rudebox are the best he has done in years, and he ends up being written off. It really is beyond me.

Its a shame isn't it..a great song going to tank because its not "in" to like Robbie anymore. That sucks. If Robbie had released Lovelight or Madonna when he was "in" they both would have been No.1's. I am also so confused because every review of the last two singles have been brilliant, saying its the best he has done in a long while, yet the album still gets slated. two great tracks off an album would normally help sales along, but all everyone is doing including Simon Cowell is rubbishing it.

They cannot even get to like each other let alone anyone else. Maybe they haven't got over Robbie using Liams hotel room for a quick tumble on his bed and raiding the mini bar. One day those two irates will get what they deserve (I hope)

I don't know if they were mates Scotty, but Simon certainly thought Robbie to be the best pop star around, he said so in his book. It just shows you not to trust anyone being on your side when you are down.

It is so strange because the singles from Rudebox, apart from the title track, have had very good reviews, and yet they call the album a debacle. The only people that made it that was the tabloid press and of course as soon as there was a glitch they all jumped on the bandwagon. I hope one day when all this Rob bashing stops someone just may turn around and say it how it really is and that it is an okay album.

It was nice wasn't it Scotty, Jackie and I laughed all the way to work this morning. Its been a while since we were able to do that. I know he may never get to see them or read them either, but it was nice that a positive feature was made out of them, which made a change.

How right you are Scotty, Noel is a rather short and sad man. I don't even get offended by his stupidity anymore.

Robfan you may have misinterpreted me in my post, I sent my support to the Sun..as Support is Support and it does come from my heart, which you would know. I think you thought I meant supporting The Sun. Nope I am supporting Robbie wherever I can and to whom I can. I would really like to consider next what to do about those two jumped up dragons at The Mirror. What an evil pair they are.

But we will Dazzleland..and I can't take anymore Robbie bashing.

I am sorry to hear this, the forum was going great..I wonder what changed, I can't even guess.

I hope he will be okay too when he gets out, its not a great welcome back for him is it? Sadly Robbie has always been "tabloid" good and bad, and I would say he gets more than his far share of slagging off despite his huge success. Maybe that is why, they don't think he should be so successful.
