  2. "Just a Girl" is amazing, idc what anyone says.
  3. Fluid from start to finish, love this.
  4. Seems like anything he touches or does is pretty much gold and "Chamakay" is no exception to that. Love it.
  5. Stoked for this upcoming album. Their discography is very solid generally speaking.
  6. She delivered yet again. So far this is my personal AOTY and I'll be surprised if anything else beats it out by the end of the year. "Ghetto Woman" is just brilliant.

This is literally my favorite release of the summer so far. "Invisible" is just massive and in general this is a great EP.
  9. lol was not expecting that. I totally see the Kate Bush vibe with "How Not To Be Surprised When You're A Ghost" and love it.
  10. "Taking In Water" is just so perfect. I doubt it would ever get a singles release, but it should in my opinion. I suppose "Swan Song" would probably be the safest route in that department though for a release.

  12. Loving the album, I had to crumble and listen to the stream of it and ugh it's so good.
  13. Praise the lord for the search function on here. His voice is just something I could listen to forever and ever. Sam is very easily my favorite male vocalist to pop around in the past 5 years. The new album is pretty good, I'd say on a consistency level it's better than the self titled album actually to be entirely honest. I think the record company got it wrong (or Sam, whoever) by pushing back the release date and also him just kind of doing features, some writing for others, and buzz singles for like 4 years? I think "Shades of Grey" is awful, but outside of that I love all the tracks from the new album. It obvious throwback sounds of 80 percent of the album makes me happy too. I just love how he totally channels Larry Levan kind of vibes with the arrangement of some of these tracks.

I'm all for progression, but I wouldn't have complained either if she stuck more with the electro sound like with Lights. I'm looking forward to how this new era unfolds, but "This Love (Will Be Your Downfall)" will probably stick as my favorite Ellie song.. pretty underrated, but such ear candy for me.

I realize that. That is why I said I was going to reserve judgment until recorded material is out of course lol. I hope she gets some momentum going, but part of me thinks she shouldn't have waited so long to get the ball rolling on this. This is an independent venture right?

The song doesn't sound all that great? I'll reserve my full judgment once a recording is floating around though of "Superman Flies" or better yet anything. She was definitely shafted during her stint of Xfactor (and Rachel too).
  17. Kind of a shit song, but probably will do well regardless.
  18. I'm always a bit biased with most Xenomania produced songs and this is no different. I enjoyed Amelia on the Xfactor and for a first single this is great. I also love the single cover for this too.

I actually love "Headphones" even if it's not the kind of track that screams hit single. I can also pass on the video for it since apparently much effort wasn't given to it. I've enjoyed all her buzz singles, but she and her record company really need to get it together.

lol, that would the next set of songs by her I enjoy from the album. Click, Mathematics, Meddle, Stuck On Repeat, Symmetry, and Remedy in that order are my primary fav. songs off the album. I can't say in general that I agree about the album or her sounding anything Kylie though.

lol exactly what I came into here to say. I think this song sucks on a personal level, on xfactor I didn't like her either... but I expected her to come out with something more of a grimier sound. She is the epitome of a poseur, but I could see this fairing well in the uk. Here in the US though, it wouldn't do much of anything tbh imo.

I'm American and don't call it an American show, in fact I spoiled myself and followed some of the Holland's version of it and was sorely disappointed that our talent was so lackluster compared to them. This alone $h!ts on anything the American version of the show had: n2JV5wjecIg I usually hate P!nk songs, but she made me legitimately enjoy Sober for once... her voice is something else. Anyways, I am glad Javier won against Dia even if neither of them are personal favs. of mine.

Yessss, that is actually my fav. Little Boots song. It is very much underrated, but I could listen to it for days.
  24. lmaoooo, I actually kind of liked Lipstick and this is also guilty pleasure material as well.

Clean Apart was the $h!t, same with I'm Not Sorry... I may actually like those two songs a little more than some of the newer stuff I have heard from her. That being said though, even the new stuff has been good though.
