45. Sheena Easton
Lover In Me (and the whole album) was amazing, don't really care for her other material though. Ironically the urban sound she had with that album in particular was ace. (Babyface, LA Reid, Prince, Angela Winbush, etc) went to town production wise with that album.

Ciara ∙ 'Work' ∙ 'Like A Surgeon'
Lmao at the new cover, the former cover at least looked umm "less cheap" I guess. I do like the "Love, Sex. Magic" single cover though tbh (although the font on that also annoys me, the photography makes up for it though)

Jordin Sparks 5 new clips! INCLUDING ... The Cure, DLITGTYH
Only liked about three tracks off her debut album (how "Freeze" wasn't a single still boggles my mind to this very day) but I'm interested to see what her second album is going to be all about (sound/production wise)

Alesha // Let's Get Excited
There are better b-side tracks from the album that would of made a better 3rd single then this imo, but just my two cents.

Same Difference - Pop
Lol at how this isn't surprising in the least bit.

X Factor: The Final
I wanted a Ruth/Alex final two, so I'm glad this is sounding promising for her to get a deal. Ruth was just fire, it would be a travesty if she wouldn't get signed imo.

X Factor Voting Details - Percentages for all weeks
Ugh so happy Alex won, I really wanted a Ruth vs. Alex final two... but I'm just happy that someone who deserved to win actually won. Her duet with Beyonce was just amazing.

WOMANIZER VIDEO - PAGE 3
Love it, like someone said the bridge of it is pure fire. I've listened to it so much.. its ridiculous.

Predict: Leona Lewis - Forgive Me
Eh it might not be number one, but it could crack the top three? From the sounds of it they are taking a little TOO long to release it, that can backfire.
-
Girls Aloud - The Promise
Hated it at first, and now I like it (well the chorus is what draws me to like the song... its so damned repetitive but in the good way). The intro to the song makes me cringe a little bit though. Anyways I'd say it will be in the top 3-8 range.

Predict: Leon Jackson 'Dont call this love' vs.
Seriously, 100 percent agreed.
-
Claire Richards - Tragedy
Not too shabby.

Songs that were expected to be #1, but weren't
Well idk if it was "expected" to go number one.. but it SHOULD of been number one. "Beware of the Dog" - Jamelia. I wish some of the good UK acts were brought to America, I could of really saw that shattering the charts here tbh. It's such a quality pop song, and a surprise it never went number one in the UK imho.
-
Predict: Leon Jackson 'Dont call this love' vs.
Nope, I prefer it as well.. but I'm not even in the UK so it had no relevance from my side of things anyways rofl.

Mathew Knowles files lawsuit against Rihanna!
It's not like Matthew needs the money... or would even get a money from Rihanna + lol this is clearly fake, makes a good lol though.

Theo Tams - Sing
I actually love this, probably one of the better winner singles from Canadian Idol for sure. Theo is a tremendous talent.

This is exciting

Solange - "Sol-Angel & the Hadley Street Dream"
I love "Cosmic Journey".. if they don't release it as a single here in the US.. I could see it being pretty well received at least Overseas (UK, etc). I love that track as well, could make for a potentially great video I would think as well.
-
Solange - "Sol-Angel & the Hadley Street Dream"
They have to live up to their name, obviously.

Jessica Simpson > 'Do You Know'
I think Jessica is a great pop artist... and also makes a great country artist. It's a shame she gets so much slack either direction she goes with. Anyways.. "In This Skin" will probably always be my favorite Jessica album, but from the little I previewed of "Do You Know" this is leaps and bounds better than "A Public Affair" (the only track I truly love off that was her cover of "You Spin Me".. which should of been a single imho). I'm buying this album later today I think.

Leon Jackson - Don't Call This Love
It's not even bad imho, but again...I liked him on the show. I have a soft spot for him.
-
Solange - "Sol-Angel & the Hadley Street Dream"
So basically I'm obsessed with this album, and if the rumors are true about "T.O.N.Y" being the third single.. then there is a god. And this is coming from someone who loathed her previous to this album. It's a shame this album is so underrated though, easily imho one of the better albums to come out this year.

Danity Kane - Welcome To The Dollhouse
ROFL you were saying? (not to be mean, but it made me giggle a bit :] ) and honestly this is one of the best albums to come out so far in 2008. I literally love every song on it, I also love how the producing isn't too similiar for all the songs (minus a few.) Even the interludes would of been excellent songs. I think it's a different sound then the first album. but I love that album to pieces too.

Classic Albums - Personal Review
^I love the "Penthouse and Pavement" album. Well actually my favorite Heaven 17 album is "How Men Are" but that's like my second favorite. anyways getting back on topic, this was an excellent read. And I too love the "Dare" album, top notch.

I've got a question about Kim wilde
rofl this is a forum board to state an opinion and that is exactly what I did. Tell me where I said it was a truth? You can't police my opinion. What you're saying isn't changing my mind, really you can get off your soap box. I'll stick with my opinion and you can stick with yours. I never even said she was rock, I said she had rock elements to her music. I never said she was stright up rock. And sorry you feel that way, but lol honestly I don't care. I never dismissed she was still pop though, but of course you're too hardheaded to bring that point up.
