  1. Best: The Head Whorebag In Charge aka Britney Spears. Worst: Avril... I will never like her. Is she successful, yeah but she's one of the most pretentious artists imo. She's so overrated imho.
  2. if its about contemporary songs... then Mariah's album... the whole thing lol.

kate bush is so underrated.. I love her. She has a lot of good songs, and I do like "This Woman's Work" but "Running Up That Hill" will always be my favorite song, but "Wuthering Heights" and "Don't Give Up" are up there as well for me. Oh and that one duet she did was Prince was amazing too imo.
  4. Eh.. I'd have to say Vanity 6 (LOL) but I do love the beats to "Sex Shooter" the lyrics are sleazy and raunchy as heck but the music is so effective imo. Also Samantha Fox, I think she was a bit skanky but I do love "I surrender" that song is catchy as hell too. The lyrics are silly, but effective.
  5. I'm American but anyways I think with the anticipation of Leona... I'd say about 305k+
  6. I missed this thread, but because of this song... I now no longer loathe her... the song is so... good. So so good. I can't believe I overlooked this song at first.
  7. Avril... by default though. I don't personally like her music.

I hate admitting this but I am like instantly in love with this song, and it kills me.. but the chorus has such an on point groove. I loathed her until today.. literally. I have heard other songs of hers but this song is actually really effective. Too bad it took me almost a year to actually know about this song's existence.

Dannii!!!! Oh wait -____- Well I guess Kylie, but between kylie, dannii, and brit... it'd be Dannii all the way. I do like Brit and Kylie though for the record though
  10. lol I am only 21, but when I was like four I was way obsessed with the whole "Kaleidscope World" album by Swing Out Sister... and still do this very day love that album in its entirety. Really there are so many artists/songs I could list but I'd be typing all day.

I hate how cheesy the video is but I do agree it is a very well written/produced song. I wasn't a huge Yamin fan during his respective season of idol though. I was a Tay Hicks/Mandisa/Stevie Scott fan (lol) Oh well.

I always HATE admitting this but yeah I like Ashlee Simpson's music... and I do live in America lol. Her first album was easily one of the best albums in 2004 imho, one of the best pop records within the last few years period. I actually like every song on the Autobiography album, all time favs would have to be "Autobiography" "Better Off" and "Pieces of Me" just a very well produced album in all honesty. I love I Am Me too, my fav. song from that album is easily "L.O.V.E" its short, effective, and I lovelove the arrangement.. even with the guitar riffs. Its just a damn catchy song in my opinion. I am secretly excited to see what November is going to bring for her.
  15. I'll just say this. I absolutely hated Hilary Duff's music prior to the "Dignity" album. However after I heard it from start to finish I was like floored. Its a very very veryyyy good album and how it flopped is still beyond me. The production and songwriting (which one of my absolute current favorite songwriters did some writing on this album as well) is very good. That album is very good and I think I could listen to "with love" over and over again without ever getting tired of it. I also love Britney's new track and really think her comeback is going to be great. Jennifer Lopez I haven't made a decision about yet... I heard the newest single and I'm on the fence about it. Mandy Moore is underrated as usual, I don't get how people are STILL under a rock about her. I even prefer her version of "Umbrella" more than Rihanna's funny enough. Best: Hilary Duff (even if sales don't translate it)/Rihanna/Mandy Moore/B.Spears Worst: Kat DeLuna (lollll even thought she is new, but she is very overrated imo)/Kelly Clarkson (personally I have always found her to be overrated and the only track I like from her new album is "Never Again" as daffy as that may sound.
  16. Hm, I'm sort of disappointed with this... hopefully the other tracks are better then this.

"Lies" will always be my favorite song by them.

Nah I would compare Timbaland to the 1980s/1990s Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis producing team if we are going to be comparing Timbaland to producers.
  21. Yes sad but true.
  22. Pretty much ANY Mel and Kim record. Early Kylie "I should Be So Lucky" and "Got To Be Certain" in paticular, and all the songs from that album really. "Never Wanna Give You Up" "Take Me To Your Heart" (Rick Astley) "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) (dead or alive) "More Than Physical" (Bananarama) "You'll never Stop Me From Loving you" (sonia) "I'd Rather Jack" The Reynolds Girls(the lyrics are dumb as idk what but I love the production and arrangement of this) "Love Reaction" (Divine) "This Time I Know its For Real" (Donna Summer) and plenty of others, knowing me I will add them to this list later on.. but you all catch my drift.
  23. Oddly enough I still may buy it but the only song I even remotely like from the track listing is "The World Is Not Enough" really...
  24. I love it too, but then I pretty much love anything they do.

love him or hate him he was (I guess I should say is actually) an extremely talented dude. My favorite song that was actually performed by him... is "reach out" anyways, he has written/produced for so many artists though..
