I must say though, and I thought the same when Bruce was sniffing round at Hull, a loan deal for a 24 year old with the injury record of a fucking gingerbread man is a strange one for us. Can't be much interest in the lad if we're resorting to that.

Blackett is a good move. Anyone who's followed his development with us couldn't possibly make a case for him to stay. CBJ had a few moments last year so will be interested to see how that one pans out in terms of him returning to us. Phil Jones and Rojo both need to go ideally but we'll be left criminally low on defenders if the Fonte deal doesn't get over the line.

From a completely sober point of view it's had me WOBBLING a few times too. KEEP A PLACE FOR MEEE
  4. Rooney would come across much better if he wasn't adamant on playing at least ten of those hopeless cross-field balls every match. That being said he has started much better this season and a lot of the hatred towards him so far has been largely unfounded. Mkhitaryan typically takes a while to settle in to new territory, was exactly the same as Dortmund, and by all accounts is not up to first team standard yet. I could understand somebody making a case for Mata at #10 as he's being outstanding so far, Mkhi less so.

So BDC is no longer a thing and is, in fact, 'Endless'? MY GOD.

He's picking off the scraps that nobody else wants. If Defoe's goals dry up this season they've had it.
  10. Absolutely foaming at the vagina at the thought of not starting against Southampton with five at the back for no other reason than believing Ronald Koeman was 'up to something'. GOD I MISS LOUIS
  11. REGARDLESS I've had 24 hours with these two and both are fantastic moments. They gonna blow when this drops.

That move really is something. In terms of todays market it's likely he's probably not short of that valuation but still. Crystal Palace.

Joe Hart at Everton would be the funniest thing I've seen since Gerrard's slip. With all due respect he has been milling about idly for about three years now.
  16. Are the two extended mixes on Spotify all we have currently?

Paul Pogba confirmed for £89m. At half twelve in the morning. Via a video clip on the official Twitter account. Some crazy time to be alive. Got to hit those prime time American/Asian markets.
  19. It was the worst thing in the history of the internet.
  20. Aw this is kinda sad. I never really took interest in anything post-second album (and neither have really aged well) but it takes me back to a nice place nevertheless.

  24. I don't ever remember not just being indifferent but actually disliking so much of a Mercury list before. ANOHNI is a really rounded, solid piece of work. Radiohead/BFL are okay.
