Season 4 was fantastic. One of the most gripping shows I've watched in a long time.

Well there's a band I genuinely had heard nothing from in years. Decided to CUT TO THE CHASE as I'm a bit pressed for time here but 'Perfect Time' is a beautiful, beautiful song. More 2 follow.

I was distraught when this happened to me.

I like Animal Collective best when they’re coming out with real works of expression and art, experimenting with intricate rhythmical structure consistently throughout. This does in places but kinda doesn’t the rest of the way. I understand the direction they’re aiming for and I understand the distance they’re putting between this and ‘Centipede Hz’ but it’s lacking in too many places to be anything other than an ‘alright’ record for me.

Disappointment.

I must admit I was very fond of the first album. I remember feeling thoroughly nauseated by them by the time the release date actually came round due to the fact that everyone was already claiming it was the best album ever prior to it actually being put out there. In hindsight it was very good though. Will be nice to actually get a second album once the dust has settled and we're on something of an even playing field now.
