Project Catwalk series 3, episode 7. The contestants met up with their mystery pop-star client Sophie ellis-Bextor, in a recording studio. Their brief stated that Sophie was looking for a dress suitable for performing in. For a starting point to design from, the contestants had to use a set of designer shoes. Sophie only appears at the intro and then at the final judges panel, but you get a glimpse of Sophie performing 'love is here'. I take it the show was shot back in the summer, as Sophie explains the track as 'my next single'. It repeats on Sky Three (which most people have - cos its on freeview too) tomorrow at 1pm (Saturday 01/03/08) and again 7pm Sunday 2/03/08. (believe it's online too)

The newly remodeled Fendi store on the Avenue Montaigne was the place to be Friday night as Grammy winner Amy Winehouse performed a private concert for several hundred guests, including Karl Lagerfeld, who designs the Fendi collection, Sofia Coppola, Jessica Alba (looking very pregant in a black baby doll dress), Kayne West and the Olsen twins. The glittering store, on Paris's most fashionable shopping street, is filled to the brim with Fendi handbags and other accessories on the first floor while the second floor features women's ready to wear designs from Lagerfeld's Fendi spring line. But most of the evening's activites took place in an covered courtyard in the back, where waiters served hors d'ourves and champagne. (With France's new no-smoking laws in effect, smokers had to get a wristband to exit to an outdoor area near the front of the store.) At 11 p.m. the doors to an adjoining room, marked simply as "Fendi O", opened and guests stormed the entrance. It quickly filled up and burly security guards kept out latecomers. "My dad's the CEO of the company," one man begged in an attempt to get in without success. Those who made it in were mesmerized by Winehouse. Wearing her trademark beehive hairdo, she apologized that "I don't know anything about fashion" before launching into her set. For once, no one in the fashion crowd seemed to care.

Amy Winehouse’s friends are begging the troubled singer to return to rehab — fearing she is “getting back to her worst”. The 24-year-old singer — who left a private London rehab clinic earlier this month, has slowly been returning to her old ways — and her incarcerated husband, Blake Fielder-Civil has threatened to ban her from visiting him in prison because he is convinced she is still taking crack cocaine. A source said: “Amy’s in an awful state again — she’s clearly on drugs. Many of us think full-time residential rehab is the only option but she won’t go back.” The ‘Rehab’ singer’s friends and family have been in crisis talks since Monday, after Amy, who has a history of self-harm, was seen with scratches on her left arm. Amy checked into Central London’s Nightingale Hospital after being exposed smoking a crack pipe in her London flat in January — but pals believe that soul diva’s rehabilitation was not taken seriously enough. The source added to British newspaper The Sun: “She was smoking cannabis and drinking heavily as soon as she left rehab. That has now increased. “Everyone who’s seen her in the last week or so has been really disturbed by the state she’s in. She’s getting back to her worst. “It was hoped her new album and fashion range would keep her focused but it hasn’t worked.”

TROUBLED singer Amy Winehouse today failed to show up to see her husband deny plotting to pervert the course of justice following his arrest for assault. The police will take no further action against Amy Winehouse in relation to the charges against her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, for perverting the course of justice. However, today (February 29) it was announced that Winehouse is no longer a suspect in the case, and no further action will be taken against her. Blake Fielder-Civil, 25, repeatedly cast longing looks towards the doors for the 24-year-old Back To Black singer during his latest court appearance. He stands accused alongside Hatfield man James Kennedy. But Amy, who had attended all of her jailbird husband's court appearances so far, did not grace today's proceedings with her presence. Fielder-Civil was allegedly involved in a brawl at the Macbeth pub, in trendy Hoxton which left James King, 36, needing medical treatment. The music video assistant, who wore a grey sweatshirt, denies causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Mr King on June 20 last year. And today he denied conspiring with alleged victim Mr King to pervert the course of justice when he appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court. Michael Brown, 39, of Durand Close, Carshalton, Surrey, James King, of The White House, Risley Hall, Risley, Derbyshire, and Anthony Kelly, 25, of Constable House, Chalk Farm, have already denied conspiring to pervert the course of justice. Brown has pleaded not guilty to the assault charge. Jeremy Dein, QC, for Fielder-Civil, appealed to the media to temper 'sensational' reporting of the case. But Judge David Radford said reports he read emanated from sources close to the defendant. The judge said: 'It would be useful for those who may be connected to your client, not to fuel that publicity by saying what they might do about various things connected with this case.' A fifth defendant, James Kennedy, 19, of The Holdings, Hatfield also denied conspiring to pervert the course of justice today .Kennedy, who is out on bail while the others were remanded in custody, had a condition that prevented him travelling within the M25 lifted. The court heard that Kennedy worked in construction with his father and granted him permission to come as far as London's North and South Circular roads. Winehouse started dating Fielder-Civil two years ago and they married in a low key ceremony in Miami in May last year. Judge Radford has set a trial date for June 2 this year with another pre-trial hearing has been set for April 25.

The singer will be flown to France by private jet for Paris Fashion Week, where she will be getting half a million pounds for a gig at Louis Vuitton"s show. One might just call her fashion sense as scruffy, but the Amy has become the fashion industry"s golden girl. Her so called ‘unique" style has made designer Karl Lagerfeld base a clothes line on her. She also appeared at the London Fashion Week earlier this month donning a beehive of sorts and is set to launch her own fashion line. However, her Paris gig will make her miss husband Blake Fielder-Civil"s latest court appearance. So basically Amy could of brought a nice house in London for just doing that one apperance!!!

Dawn was great I think Eastenders are trying to make her less of the silly dumb girl/slapperish character she was into something more respectful - and its working - the glasses make her look intelligent and the performance today was funny! and really well acted!

Sophie will be singing the disco classic 'Yes, Sir, I Can Boogie' on the show which will be broadcast on ITV1. The Feeling, Craig David and KT Tunstall will also be appearing on the show.

Dressed as Star Wars’ Princess Leia and Han Solo they had a great time on the decks. Sophie and Richard agreed to spin discs after appearing on the club night’s forthcoming TV spin-off, Guilty Pleasures, airing on ITV on March 8. After her set Sophie said: “Richard and I know all about each other’s guilty pleasures.”
