  1. Mel C has ruined it - great! Im glad I got to see the tour though
  2. No one expects it to be cancelled twice
  3. Singer Mika has revealed that he would like to team up with Amy Winehouse on a Jewish album. Mika is a Beirut-born and London-based singer-songwriter, whose mother is Lebanese. Upon learning that Amy was planning an album of Christmas and Hanukkah songs, he has been eager to get involved, to "make a statement". "I heard Amy will be recording an album of Jewish music once she gets well and I'd like to make a contribution to it," The Sun quoted Mika, as saying. "I really like her music. Think about this - me, a part-Lebanese artist working on a Jewish album. I think that's a nice statement. "I'd like to make a statement some day," he added. (ANI)

Thats great! She is very pretty in real life yes - she loves her fans!
  5. Do you think one free song is enough for cancelling 2 tours? There is outrage on the official forum about this. I personally think its not good enough - considering the first time she said she would make it up to us - she never did.... I think we should get at least 4 or 5 songs that didnt make it on the TTLF album! VOTE NOW - lets see what everyone thinks! :)
  6. Oh no dont compare adele to amy!! lol
  7. Amy Winehouse has a new addiction - but this one’s more likely to rot her teeth than end her life - the troubled singer has been constantly binging on Ribena and ice lollies, it has been revealed. A source said: “Amy had an obsession with ice lollies before she went into rehab. “That is the one thing she has clung on to while she is having treatment. “There is a security guy there who goes out each day to fetch her some goodies from the corner shop. “Each time he comes back with a bagful of Ribena ice lollies for her. Amy has suffered from bulimia in the past so anything to make her eat is a great achievement.” Amy, 24, was admitted in to rehab last Thursday after a shocking video of her smoking, what appeared to be crack cocaine appeared online. The singer is brushing up on her singing skills for her forthcoming Grammy and Brit award awards performances and the patients at the London rehab center are getting a free concert every day. A source said: “Amy was worried she’ll be really bored inside so took her guitar in with her to bide her time. “She’s been playing so much that a few people have been asking her to teach them a few chords - and she’s happily obliged.” Adds the source: “There’s no doubt that the experience has had an astonishing effect on her creative output.” http://i28.tinypic.com/2e4vzwk.jpg

Amy Winehouse was rushed to hospital on Wednesday night as a result of the withdrawal symptoms she's suffering from since giving up drugs, according to reports. The singer became dangerously dehydrated while going cold turkey and was taken to the private London Clinic centre where she was put on a drip. Amy's father, Mitch (who can't seem to stop talking to the press), had previously told The Sun that Amy was suffering from "horrific" withdrawal symptoms. He found the time to speak to The sun again yesterday and said, "Amy is OK. She is making progress but will be in rehab for a long time." But a source close to the London Clinic said she didn't look too hot... "Amy was looking very pale and thin. She looked ropey and exhausted. Let's hope she hasn't taken a turn for the worse." We are glad to hear that she's given up drugs and we hope she makes a speedy recovery. “Going on a drip is a sign that things have got pretty bad. “Crack is notoriously difficult to get off.” "Horrific" withdrawal symptoms? Makes you think of Ewan Mcgregor in 'Trainspotting' or Harrison Ford after he drinks the blood in 'Temple Of Doom'. Not nice!

downloads are truely boring - I only download if I want to find like 1 song - and dont want to buy album i like cds - cos you can see what you have and if your a massive fan of them - you can add it to your collection
  11. I dont really like it - its okay - it reminds me of the whole "shoot from the hip" album song era - songs are okay but kinda bland BUT the statement above says that the GH is out in Late Spring? = good news?
  12. "Rehab" Live on David Letterman IlRF43-xaYc Amy Winehouse performs "Rehab" for her American television debut on Late Show with David Letterman March 12, 2007.
  13. My guess is around the middle of last year cos she has put a nice bit of weight on around the cheeks and legs

  15. Amy Winehouse's record label has put the success of her hit album 'Back to Black' down to the increased media frenzy surrounding the singer's turbulent personal life. The Rehab star's sophomore album was named the world's biggest-selling record from a British artist in 2007, shifting more than 3.4 million albums across the globe for Winehouse's record label Universal Music International. The 24-year-old has also enjoyed huge success in the notoriously difficult American market, scooping nominations in six categories at the 50th annual Grammy Awards next month. Label bosses have taken a swipe at the troubled singer's success, claiming cleverly-executed marketing tactics are the real reason for the high sales.Hassan Choudhury, vice president of Universal Music International, says: "There's no getting away from the fact all the coverage has kept Amy Winehouse's profile at the highest level. "Everyone (at Universal) is extremely happy with the amount of records we've sold and a lot of it has been down to some amazing marketing opportunities in the market when the artist wasn't available."
  16. Mary J. Blige has defended Amy Winehouse against claims that she is setting a bad example to fans with her drug use. The R'n'B star, who has beaten addictions to drugs and alcohol in the past, said Winehouse was a "perfect example" and should not be criticised for her lifestyle. WENN quotes her as saying: "Amy's music means something. If you look at the truth, leadership and honesty in music, Amy is the perfect example. "She's probably the best thing in the business now. I hope I can collaborate with her." Winehouse checked into a rehab clinic in London last week. digitalspy
  17. I remember when Amy first got "famous" - she wasnt that big really - and wasnt known to be the I dont know like "trendy" artist - at least until REHAB - Then things changed big time!
  18. Yay thanks for starting a new game! Wake up alone is my worst
  19. NEVER one to bite her tongue, national treasure Dame Edna Everage has sharpened her claws on celebrity trashbags Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears. While Everage, aka Barry Humphries, has herself been a party possum over the years, the Moonee Ponds matron has advised Winehouse to "have her tattoos removed and get rid of that spooky-looking husband". But she wouldn't even draw breath on Spears, saying, "I think advice is wasted on a non-entity like Britney". Meanwhile, Humphries wasn't going to let pesky appendix surgery get in the way of seeing one of his favourite artists this week. The comedy legend saw US singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright in Sydney on Tuesday night, abandoning his sick bed where doctors have ordered him to rest for up to six months after complications from the surgery late last year.
  20. Kelly Osbourne has defended her best friend Amy Winehouse after the troubled singer was named Villain of the Year by music magazine bible NME. Asked what Kelly thought about the nomination, she sniffed: "I'm not going to comment on that, Amy is one of my best mates." Amy will have stiff competition for the award: George Bush, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown have also been nominated. Kelly was happier to talk about the Brit Awards, which her parents Ozzy and Sharon will be presenting. She dismissed suggestions that her parents would be practising for the event. She said: "Can you honestly imagine my mum and dad practising? It just doesn't happen! The reason why we Osbournes work is because we're real, not fake and not edited. We just have a laugh, really."
  21. Amy Winehouse may want to attend the Grammys on Feb. 10, but it doesn't look like she can go, go, go. She's too busy going to rehab, to which she'd earlier said, "No, no, no," of course. "I'm not sure the Grammys are going to happen," her father told the London Mirror. "I don't want her to go — I think it might be a bit too soon for her. She's not well -- that's why she's in rehab. But she's doing OK. She is getting good treatment." However, one of Winehouse's pals told the New York Post's Page Six: "Amy has been told she is going to appear at the Grammys in February and she agreed, but I was with Amy two days ago and if you had seen how bad she was you would agree the poor girl shouldn't be going anywhere, least of all to the States for an awards appearance. "I understand why Amy's management wants her to attend," the pal added, "but she won't be ready, she is so fragile... She is an addict and needs to be watched around the clock."
  22. This year’s Grammy Awards are set to by Amy Winehouse’s big comeback - but not if her father Mitch gets his way. The 57-year-old taxi driver reckons the pressure of the huge American gig could send his troubled daughter straight back to drugs. The ‘Rehab’ songstress, 24, has been nominated for six categories this year and was using next month’s prestigious ceremony in LA as a target for getting out of rehab. But worried Mitch says: “I’m not sure the Grammys are going to happen. I don’t want her to go - I think it might be a bit too soon for her. “She’s not well - that’s why she’s in rehab. But she’s doing OK. She is getting good treatment.” Which is more than Mitch has been getting from Blake Fielder-Civil’s mom, Georgette. Amy’s mother-in-law sparked another family feud by accusing Mitch of taking money from his daughter. “He’s furious. And he’s afraid the rows will set back Amy’s recovery,” a source said. “There are many things that Mitch could say about Blake’s family but he doesn’t feel it’s right to talk about them in that way. He just wants people to give Amy the space to recover.” http://i26.tinypic.com/316x85d.jpg
