It climbed to No.8 the following week - but it spent 19 weeks in the Top 75 in 2003. And of course, the original version won Eurovision for Denmark in 2000. Yes, back to Eurovision again!!

that's what i've been doing - defo doing it now while lil' wayne's on :puke2: ali campbell - that look in your eye. not heard this in years!!

wonder if many Eurovision acts enter the chart on downloads next week - like they did last year!!

Hi all I'm just listening to pick of the pops on Radio 2 - w/e 27/05/1995 01. (1) Robson Green And Jerome Flynn - Unchained Melody/White Cliffs Of Dover 02. (3) Perez 'Prez' Prado And His Orchestra - Guaglione 03. (4) Scatman John - Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop) 04. (2) Livin' Joy - Dreamer 05. (15) Ali Campbell - That Look In Your Eye

My prediction 1. Estelle 2. Flo Rida <_< 3. Sam Sparro 4. Duffy 5. Madonna/Justin Static apart from Sam and Duffy doing a swap!!

I think Duffy will be number one in the next few weeks :)

Thanks for making me welcome people - I'll try and come on here again sometime. If not, I'll get a laugh reading the thread at a later time :)

same here - i remember when Scott & Charlene got married - first time i remember seeing people kiss like that

I'm shocked that Kylie's 40 this year - and I'm old enough to remember when I Should Be So Lucky was number one. She was 19 at the time!!

Most of us on this thread knew that Estelle was going to make the top spot but I feel that Fearne and Reggie ruin it for everybody else whos listening. The tension has completely gone - they just don't seem to care!! Now excuse me while I dance to Mercy!!

The first time i listen to the chart for weeks and they spoil it by announcing there's a new number one before they even play the No.40 song  Well done to Estelle though as its a good tune. Wanted Duffy to get another week but 5 weeks is still good!!

my thoughts exactly

all the chavs are bouncing... :dancing: not me though!! <_<

i guess this was what i was expecting - not great though ;)

Utah Saints

Can't Speak French in French!?! This should be interesting

today will be the first time i hear the new madonna single!!

Girls Aloud Top 10 then!!

is it me or does the "come on girl, come on girl" bit sound camp!?!

we don't get snow in Birmingham any more :(

EIGHT weeks!?!

it does still have its fanbase obviously (i.e. us) but its not a topic of conversation among the general public like it used to be. i think most people i know haven't got a clue who's gonna be number one this week!!

i wish i had sent that text!!

Is it any wonder nobody cares about the singles chart any more when the presenters don't give a toss themselves!?! :(

another new one on me!! -_-
