shut up and get on with the chart!!

Timbaland/OneRepublic climbing again!! Why!?!?!?

never heard this - sounds alright though!!

I knew Soulja Boy would climb  GO AWAY!!

Mark Goodier announced the chart during the 90s and played the whole Top 40 in full - he quit in 2002

I read the thread later on a sunday but thats only because i visit my parents at this time on a sunday. but they've gone away for the weekend so i'm here this week :) and i like the moaning and bitching - cos i agree that Fearne and Reggie are the worst chart presenters ever!! bring back Mark Goodier - or even Wes!!

Please tell me Soulja Boy has fallen out of the Top 40 and not climbed!!

sorry Simon - i just always thought they were a bit bland. not my taste

when were they exactly?

Westlife :puke2:

did she just say Gnarls Barkley was a re-entry?!

sooooooooooo true about HearSay

Futureheads :yahoo: should have done better imo!!

i don't understand why they did that - even if it's obvious to us, don't spoil it for everyone else!!

thanks guys :) i like Valerie but it needs to disappear - its been too long

mind if i join in - i usually read this thread on a sunday night cos im not usually at home when the chart is announced!! happy easter btw :)

4th December 1982 UK - Beat Surrender by The Jam US - Truly by Lionel Richie ^_^

That's quite surprising. I thought shayne ward would flop!! But glad Sean Kingston's going down ^_^

I remember listening to the charts on a Sunday when Bruno Brookes did it and I even remember Mark Goodier announcing Bryan Adams getting his 16th week at No.1 with "Everything I Do (I Do It For You)". I started writing down the charts in Sep 1997 when Elton John went straight to the top with "Candle In The Wind 1997". I was listening to it for the first time in years but I wanted to listen to this one because the single was only released the previous day so I just wanted to see if it got to the top. For some reason, I just grabbed a pen and a piece of paper, wrote 1 to 40 down the page and wrote down the songs as quick as I could. I wrote them all down until 2004 when I started putting them on my PC. First post and I waffle on!! lol
