I will reserve judgement until the finished version leaks...not impressed so far.

Its a bit boring, Meek Mill seems the star and almost every shot of Mariah sees her blocked by rope :/.

Trouble seems more like her general sound, I agree Collide sounded different to her usual drone but in general Trouble kind of fades into the rest of her back catalogue for me

We don't not mention the devil in this thread! I hate to admit it but I really cant see this album doing great either, I would love her to have success but its almost a case of Ashanti/Amerie....no matter how they try its just over.

First official single "Sorry" is being released or premiered or something today, Ci is looking beautiful as ever on the single cover. Maybe this era can finally begin!

Thats my only problem with some of the singles this era, they don't sound like her at all in the chorus, Call My Name sounded as though a man was singing over her vocals during the chorus and this...well just doesn't sound all to much like her at all.

I don't always take the release schedule as gospel as singles can often be moved, cancelled or sometimes just put on there incorrectly, Its only a month left and I haven't seen it on any music channels, any radio playlists, Itunes, Nelly hasn't mentioned anything about it...for a single it just seems a little disjointed :/.

Its strange how awfully they've handled her, why not do what they do on the UK shows, give them a good song (if its a female contestant) and wait until the live shows to launch them.

There's talk that, that version might just be a backing track....we can only hope. I honestly dont know what her team are doing, like are they just going to release the album in a month without another single being released in America or the UK.

I really wish she would release a this with her verses on the original version, I don't even mind Meek's rap that much just get rid of Ross. The beat in the original is so much better than the remixes.

The snippet has me even more worried now....didnt hear any kind of hook it just an amateur sounding rap and mariah wailing a bit. Hopefully the full song will deliver.

This is a Pop/Dance song why is it in this forum. but actually speaking of the song its not bad quite catchy but a bit disjointed.

Love in this club vibe? gross. I love Mariah but the two guest verses are definitely making me less excited for this.

I'm all for her representing Trinidad but this song just doesn't fit the video, she looks a bit awkward in the scenes with the landscape behind her, and just a stubby mess when she's walking up the street....Va Va Voom next please.

Its catchy, I wouldn't say its necessarily conventional, and I wouldn't even say Spirit is unconventional...just a good song lost in bad production and a nasally voice. Whatever it is, it sounds much more promising for her as a single than anything else we've heard.
