  1. I have not seen anyone mention a final chart placing for the re-issue... Did it not only miss the Top100 but the Top200 altogether? :nocheer:
  2. So it's quite possible that since 2009 (Madonna with Celebration at 51, Whitney with MDB at 46) we've not only not had a new Top 10 single from a 50+ female singer, but even from a 45+ one.
  3. We also had Madonna, Whitney, Shania, Celine, Mariah and many others getting hit after hit after hit in the late 90s/early 00s when they were all pushing on 40 or older than that. Anyway, seeing how it is becoming very likely that Kylie does get a Top 10 single with Padam, what is the last time we had a 50+ female reach the UK Top 10 with a new song? I must be forgetting someone but the last one that really comes to mind is Madonna with Celebration in 2009 when she was 51.
  4. This will really make us all long for the days when Ed Sheeran was dominating the charts...
  5. Loreen and Kylie on the rise
  6. Not sure if this can make any real difference for Queen Loreen but she is performing at Mighty Hoopla this weekend.
  7. Hopefully the new era helps us get rid of New York City. That's one song that really does not deserve its spot on the list.
  8. The Loreen hold is amazing. I think she should now be locked for another week in the official Top 5 this week. Miley, #3 on Spotify, is on ACR and Capaldi who had an advantage on Loreen in First Look yesterday is much lower than her now.
  9. This has to be the best Top 5 on any chart in the world this side of Year 2000.
  10. Do we, by any chance, already have any clarity on where Disco ended up last week in the UK charts?
  11. Do we know how the entries just above are doing? Maybe she’ll be able to take over Idles or Damon?
  12. I think this is a tad dramatic. It's hardly a vendetta of the whole indsutry against her, it's the same as it was with Beyonce on that Megan Thee Stallion remix. Also, it's a bit of an overstatement to say it took off. It enjoyed an initial boost due to fans purchasing the remix on the first few days but it's now pretty much vanished completely on Spotify.
  13. Do we have any news on whether the new vinyls for Spiceworld and Greatest Hits were enough to push either of the albums back into the Top200? :)
