Dahli and Hoso KILLED that finale. Must be 6 of my favourite ever looks. I think Dahli was more consistent throughout the season but Hoso's highs were better for me (the Hairy Monster look and the Devil one in particular). Sigourney was a real let down int he finale, she kinda went on a downward trajectory throughout the whole competition I really feel like we could have had a top 3. An incredible season overall though I just hope the next one is a little less hateful as much as we love the drama

Dance In The Dark is surprising. I thought it would be Teeth or So Happy I Could Die which don’t seem to be discussed nearly as much. Most of the rest make sense as end of the album tracks or deluxe tracks and then Jewels N Drugs…

Shakin' Stevens is doing incredibly well this year. Last year on Dec 1st he was like the 14th or 15th highest Xmas song and now he's the sixth highest!

Mariah at #1!! 8 of the top 10 are Christmas songs on Spotify

I hate how Apple aren't combining the versions of Xmas songs that are the exact same just from different albums. They had this issue in the past but I'm sure it was fixed last year, just makes it not entirely clear exactly how well some songs are doing

I'd imagine combined Gayle will be pretty comfortably #2 (possibly #3 behind Taylor) which is pretty insane, its blown up so fast.

Xmas songs fall on Spotify of course as its Monday, but the drops are bigger than I would have expected, but Mariah and Wham hold onto #2 and 3 (just)

No for the reasons listed above but also subjectively for me Christmas songs generally massively lift the quality of the charts (feel good, upbeat pop tunes >>>) and make them more interesting. Like without them I'm sure the next month's top 10 would just be Ed Sheeran lingering around still even on ACR, the likes of Flowers and Coming For You climbing and Adele very easily staying at the top. The battle for Mariah to get the #1 made for some of the more exciting charts over the last few years, and its nice to see the likes of Kelly Clarkson getting another unexpected top 20 hit. But yeah if I hated Xmas music I can definitely see how its annoying. Something like a top 3 Xmas tracks rule could work but problems with the ambiguity of some "Christmas" songs would definitely come up.

Some Christmas songs are appearing twice on the Apple Music charts, seems some singles version and compilation versions aren't combined - Wham, Leona, Shakin Stevens and Band Aid are all probably quite a bit higher than the seem (and other songs might have other versions just outside the top 200)

Weird how poorly Christmas songs are doing on Apple, just 6 in the top 40

Also White Christmas is down to #23 in the US so must've been some sort of issue with that yesterday, down to #104 in the UK too

White Christmas is #1 in US, very random seeing as its not its not usually one of the highest songs. This might be the first year Xmas songs are doing a lot better in the US than the UK, usually the other way around Mariah was #1 on this same Friday last year, now just #12 with 120k less streams.

Haven't the tickets been on sale for months now? I thought most of the UK dates were close to selling out
