I suppose it depends on just how much of an impact lockdown had on Christmas music being so massive last year. There wasn't really that much of an increase in 2019 compared to 2018 iirc so I wonder if last year's huge spike was a bit of a fluke. I don't think Wham or Mariah will go #1 this year or re-break any streaming records tbh. The charts also seem a bit stronger than they did this time last year, Xmas music hardly had any competition, so that might then less songs in the top 40 maybe? Hoping for the opposite though I'm one of the few who thinks Xmas music only improves the quality of the chart year after year and its always so interesting to see just how dominant it will be

God this has to be one of the worst seasons of the show ever (UK and US at least) River was completely fine in that lip sync and much much worse has been allowed to stay. I’d say she even done better than the double Shantay on this season The producers just completely misread what the fans wanted from this season

The Drag Race UK songs not doing as well as the last 2 seasons, not really surprising though as they’re no where near as good or catchy. Kinda a shame though I liked seeing the other 2 sneak into the top 40

I thought he was maybe pushing to go #1 this week but he left the big push really last minute, and the predictions for the week are saying it wasn’t really that close anyway. And obviously he’ll have no chance against Adele

Happier Than Ever seems to be picking up a lot this week. About 13 spaces higher on Apple Music than it was this time last week, the original is back in the top 15 and the edited version is continuing to climb (it wasn’t even top 200 last Mondays chart)
