Quite a big step down for me from the first episode, almost all my faves were in the first group With regards to the judging, I don’t really get how Daya was critiqued for not “showing who she is” when like half the girls in this group just lipsynced to songs that weren’t there’s. I don’t know who Jasmine is from that performance anymore than who Daya is. Like yes Jasmine and Jorgeous gave better performances but that critiqued didn’t really make any sense only aimed at one of them

Fingers Crossed down to #4 on Apple (it seems to be yo-yoing a lot there, it climbs over night a lot then drops back a bit during the day). And it’s fallen from #1 on ITunes down to #12. Really hope Sacrifice or abcdefu can hold it off #1

Just listened through it once and pretty much everything here is good. Less Than Zero and Sacrifice were the standouts It’s definitely a very cohesive album but I feel like it for sure borders on samey, but that could change with some more listens I think as a whole project I’ll prefer this to After Hours as it’s really consistent but it doesn’t have the highs of In Your Eyes or Blinding lights tbh My main complaint is that by far my favourite production on this is Every Angel is Terrifying and then it turns out just to be an ad break/interlude type thing!! So annoying

Gunna’s actually pulling ahead of The Weeknd a little now, he’s up to 8 songs top 40 and knocked one of Abel’s out Doubt his Spotify performance will be close to this impressive though

Doubt Gayle can get to #1 now with Fingers Crossed likely being Adele's biggest competition going forward now

The Weeknd now with 3 songs in the top 20 and 7 top 40. 7 songs top 40 for Gunna too which is quite impressive, didn’t think he was that big of a name here

Thank god this didn't get a new peak. Thought DBE might have got 2 top 5 hits this time last week but they've both seemed to have stalled a bit now

It seems like they've put a lot of the early fan favourites in this first group of queens - Kerri, Kornbread, Bosco and Willow are probably the 4 I've seen the most love for so far If someone is going home each premier I can't really see it not being Orion first unless she really surprises me

Yeh I'm sure it was, just seemed really specific that near enough every song that hit ACR past a certain week has been reset and nothing that hit ACR before that has. And I'm sure the likes of Becky Hill's team would try to get a reset if they could

It does seem like most songs that hit ACR the week after My Heart Goes & Thats What I Want hit ACR (2nd week in December I think) have been reset, with the exception of Shivers and maybe a few others. Wonder if it was manual then or was still label requested

Not to sound like a broken record but shame this missed top 20 so that Dermot Kennedy can linger around there for another week or two

Glad Blinding Lights snuck back in I listened to After Hours a lot this week before Dawn FM came out

The Motto and Sweet Talker are both great additions to the chart

I think Hot Hits has updated now but still has Merry Christmas and LadBaby on it just lower down now

Lauren has fallen back a couple spots to #7 on Apple, maybe just an error it would be strange to see it start falling already

The fact that songs like The Motto and Sweet Talker could miss out on going top 40 this week now thanks to months old songs grabbing a few weeks weeks in the charts… The really need to rethink the post Xmas reset/ACR rules I reckon now

There’s no need for almost all of those songs to get resets, it’s just going to make the chart a lot of more boring and stale for the next few weeks… Songs like Better Days and Drive already have long chart runs

It doesn’t look like anything had got a reset from what I can see. I don’t think Tell Me Something good has been reset it’s climb is inline with most other tracks and it’s had a great streaming week so far thanks to NYE anyway
