Record Of The Decade - 2008 Playoff
That's really not the best set of qualifiers. The wrong Beyonce song for starters, and as much as I like Alexandra on the whole, 'Hallelujah' seems a frankly bizarre choice of qualifier. Duffy and Empire Of The Sun are nice choices though.
-
Record Of The Decade - 2007 Playoff
Not a bad set, some career bests there for Sophie and Rihanna, and very underrated Christina and Beyonce singles. Nice to see Aly & AJ through, even though it's one of those songs that qualifies each other but never makes the top 35 later on. Never really expected Patrick Wolf to qualify, but he was definitely closer to doing so last year.

Big Brother 2013: Secrets and Lies (Series 14)
Wolfy and Dan both just appear to be self-imploding now. I'm hoping the latter can become a bit more likeable now that Michael's gone, but tonight doesn't give me much hope. Wolfy's pity party of herself is putting me off her at a really rapid pace too. Jackie is now my new favourite by quite some distance.

The Voice (UK) - Season 2
This is oddly really funny. The show spent an entire series trying to get a credible, marketable winner, and then at the last minute the public just went 'nah, you're alright'. Just amazing.

Big Brother 2013: Secrets and Lies (Series 14)
Mixed feelings about Sallie going. She was completely loathsome as a person, and unbelievably thick, but I would have liked to have seen her in the house without Michael also there, just to see if there'd have been a difference in her. I had her down as someone who could be a brilliant villain, akin to Makosi, having half the house hate her but still avoiding eviction week after week. I see Jemima going next really. Initially I quite liked her, but she's doing absolutely nothing for me now.

Though I definitely bought it, and liked it well enough at the time.

Big Brother 2013: Secrets and Lies (Series 14)
'I will make your life a living hell'. What a line. Sallie is basically a nightmare, and I'm really starting to like her for it. Horrible edit for her tonight, whilst Gina got a pretty good one, so it's definitely going to be close in the eviction. Couldn't care less about Daley and Dexter's sob-stories. The latter was very forced, whilst the former just seemed pretty odd considering we've seen nothing of Daley so far. Love Charlie and Jackie. I can't decide if Jackie's going to be an early boot, or last a while, but I think she's going to be good either way.

'Talk a Good Game' • Fourth Album
Really impressed with this. It feels like she's finally found her sound, and finally produced a really good album (the other three are all mediocre efforts as far as I'm concerned). 'Dirty Laundry', 'Red Wine' and 'This Is Love' would be my highlights.

Big Brother Eviction #1
Dexter to go. Gina, Dan and Sallie as favourites.

Big Brother 2013: Secrets and Lies (Series 14)
Adore Gina. Her ridiculous washing up, and then the melodrama of 'I think I just experienced racism'. Jemima evidently wasn't racist, and the warning seemed a bit unnecessary, but she did articulate her point very badly. An obvious set of nominees, and making it a vote to evict is a big mistake. Gina is doomed.

Big Brother 2013: Secrets and Lies (Series 14)
I can't help but love Gina. She treated her chat to Wolfy like she'd just visited a really poor African nation.

Eurovision Winners
2010: Lena 'Satellite' (22-02-04-12-22-34-48) 07 Weeks 2011: Ell & Nikki 'Running Scared' (42) 01 Weeks 2012: Loreen ‘Euphoria’ (29-12-10-06-11-19-30-38-49-x-02-03-07-11-15-22-28-33-41-46-x-27) 20 Weeks 2013: Emmelie De Forest ‘Only Teardrops’ (20-30) 02 Weeks Seeing as it was #3 on my EOY chart, 'Euphoria' really should have been a #1 - but it was one of many songs held off by the then newly premièred 'I Love It'. Lena's chart run is rather poor considering my love of the track as well. Dima and Alexander both failed to chart, rather regretfully with the latter.

Big Brother 2013: Secrets and Lies (Series 14)
I was actually a little excited about this series, but the twist is painfully crap so far. I think my favourite so far is actually Jemima. She's an obvious first boot, but I can appreciate a drunken and slightly perverted aunt at a wedding on a show like this. Wolfy seems like an obvious housemate to coast through the final having done next to nothing, while Sallie and Sam both seem very annoying. I'm hoping Dexter can actually be a properly good villain instead of just generally being a cock. Tonight's new housemates seem to fill the gaps a bit of actually being fairly likeable. I doubt Gina's quite the nightmare the VT made her out to be, whilst the others all seem nice enough.

The Apprentice - Series 9
The right decision really. Both were essentially doing nothing but providing the role of filler at this stage. I did occasionally enjoy Natalie though, if only for how stupid she could sometimes be. I've been saying it for weeks, but I adore Jason so much. Bless him.
