Slovenia not qualifying baffled me. Coming last in the semi though? Bloody hell.

A decent winner on the whole, but a lot weaker than most of what we've had over the past few years. A part of me was actually convinced at one point that Norway could actually challenge Denmark, it possibly the only song that everyone I was watching with agreed was really brilliant. Fourth is obviously still a very good result though. I had to admit, I didn't really think much of this year's songs on the whole. Of the songs in the final I'd only really name Norway, Finland, Romania, Denmark and Greece as favourites. Germany, Spain and Belarus if pushed for more maybe. Italy were probably my least favourite of the night, closely followed by The Netherlands (I have a feeling this isn't an opinion shared by the rest of the forum). I thought Bonnie's performance was actually pretty good, some of the vocals at the start aside. She had nice staging, so all in all I was actually expecting a better result. At the very least to challenge a place at the top half of the board. Sweden's hosting was brilliant though. Lovely staging, and Loreen's performance was fantastic. The highlight was obviously the host performing though. Possibly the best thing I've ever seen.

Wasn't particularly impressed with tonight. A lot of bland ballads performed by women in white. And a lot of people who'd won The Voice, which makes me even more certain that as a show it's responsible for spreading blandness everywhere it goes. Gutted at Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro failing to qualify, but pleased that Belarus somehow managed it. I'm not too taken with the favourites. The Ukraine seemed hyped up as something mental that failed to deliver, and Denmark are pale in comparison to some of the winners we've had recently if they're going to go all the way. I actually had The Netherlands down as my least favourite of the night. I'm really, really baffled at the apparent popularity of such a bland, forgettable song.

I still don't really understand the need to have 2 versions of 'Higher' and 'What About Us' in this. The rappers hardly make an overwhelming difference. '30 Days' is still such an oddly pointless release. A massive anthem of a track to keep them in the public eye at that time would have made sense, but they released a track that seemed like album filler material. 'Missing You' is probably their worst single for me though. The lyrics are nicely done, but it's otherwise an unbelievably bland song. Nice to see 'Lose Control' in the top 20. Their best album track as far as I'm concerned. Surprised to see 'Fall' this high. I'd consider it one of the weakest tracks on the first album.

''Jason will you be quiet you silly shit''. Highlight so far for me. This, combined with the adorable pyjamas we saw him wearing at the beginning of the episode means Jason has replaced Tim as my adorably doomed favourite. Really like Rebecca. I thought this at the beginning of the first episode purely because she looks a bit like someone who's gone as Grace Dent to a fancy dress party, but now I'm hoping she gets most of the bitchy hair extensions clique fired. Namely Luisa and Uzma, but frankly Natalie isn't doing much for me either. Francesca seems like someone who could go either way at this point, but I think Tim was the right decision, as much as I would have wanted him to stay a bit longer.

This really is one of those 'only on Buzzjack' moments. I still consider 'Up' to be their best song by a country mile. I suppose you can't help but laugh at it placing below some forgettable album tracks, but I actually had no idea it was held in such low regards until now. Otherwise, I'd have liked 'Forever Is Over' and 'Lies' to be a little higher as well. 'Puppet' was enjoyable at the time, but I think most of the new tracks we got with 'Headlines' have aged pretty over the past 3 years really.

I'd actually consider 'Untouchable' to be by far the weakest song in the top 10. But I've always had a complicated relationship with that song I suppose. It's nowhere near being one of their top 3 songs though (watch now as it wins). 'Call The Shots' has finished around about where it deserves to be, though I'd have liked 'No Good Advice' and 'Sexy! No No No' to be a good few positions higher. 'Girl Overboard' definitely deserves to be the highest non-single though. I'm hoping for a 'Biology' win. One of my favourite songs of all time.

I can't help but love this a tiny little bit, but I think that's mostly coming from how amusing I'm finding the whole mess to be. They're such a loathsome band aren't they? Tom in particular.

But do the French love their children? Maybe Sophie can find out.

Pleasantly surprised to see 'Whole Lotta History' this high. I always thought it was very underrated and that I was one of very few who considered it a highlight. Certainly I think it's the only time they really nailed a ballad. Would have liked to have seen 'The Loving Kind' a little higher. For a woman who released such an amazing solo album, Nicola really does have appalling taste in Girls Aloud singles doesn't she? 'The Promise' is around about where it should be. It's very good, but will forever have that status of being their most overrated single for me. Pleased to see 'Graffiti My Soul' as one of the highest album tracks. The second album campaign was handled pretty brilliantly, but it still would have been nice for it to have been a single. 'Memory Of You' is very, very good, but I'd question it being their fourteenth best song. Nice to see some love for 'Singapore' too. Always one of their most forgotten gems.

Seems like it could be a better series than last year, where things fell a bit flat around midway through. Tim's probably my favourite at this point. So cute, yet so doomed. I also quite liked Jason and the one with the eyebrows. A lot of hair extensions going on with the girls team. They're a little indistinguishable, but I'd pick Leah and the one who went ''is it a Chinese holiday or summin?'' out as favourites there. I liked Jaz, but she was pretty out of her depth really. Not too keen on Sophie, though I appreciated her attempts at being Susan Ma II with ''it's very unfair isn't it?''.

I properly love this, the name checking in particular. It does have that feeling of being the type of track that should just be left as a fan favourite on the album admittedly, but I don't see why it shouldn't do pretty well for them.

The appropriate selection there really. A lot of good but not great tracks. I'm surprised to see 'Close To Love' this high though. I really liked it for the first few weeks, but now I'd probably call it one of the weakest tracks on the 'Tangled Up' album.

Really, really surprised at how good this is. I'd actually name it one of my favourite albums of the year so far (but maybe that says more about the state of pop in 2013 than anything else). My expectations had really dipped considering how long things had been dragged out, but it's actually a really solid album. I'm quite disappointed she's left off 'Headphones' though. It was my favourite of the 2012 singles that no one bought. 'Crescendo', 'Strangers', 'Beat Beat' and 'Broken Record' would be my highlights.

I really wouldn't have expected the St Trinian's song to do so well. It was enjoyable at the time of release, but I can't say I still regularly listen to it. I would have thought 'Waiting' would have been higher, they always did a brilliant job of it live, and I was disappointed that they left it off the last tour. 'Crazy Fool' was very good too, and puts most of Cheryl's solo output to shame. Loved 'Love Is The Key' when the album initially came out, but it got very boring very quickly for me. 'Life Got Cold' is another which is decent enough but never stood up all that brilliantly compared to the other singles, though it was nice to see it performed on the tour. I adore 'Hoxton Heroes' though. If I had to choose, I'd probably name it my favourite of the B-Sides.

'Hanging On The Telephone' is probably one of their strongest covers if you ask me. And I adore 'Here We Go'. Would have expected 'Swinging London Town' to be higher considering the fans voted for it to be on the second disk of 'Ten'. Until recently I would have agreed about it being overrated, but I've grown to really like it recently. Of the singles, I'm hoping for 'Long Hot Summer' next, followed by 'Life Got Cold'.

'Beautiful Cause You Love Me' above 'Miss You Bow Wow' is such an odd result. I always thought the latter was adored. I'd certainly consider it to the best track that isn't a single on 'Out Of Control'. 'Beautiful..', if nothing else, proves that you should never hand over too much control to Nicola bloody Roberts. The worst possible song to end a career on.

Ah see I wasn't holding out much hope for Charli's album, 'You (Ha Ha Ha)' had been pretty underwhelming, so my love had waned a bit, but it really impressed me. I'm tempted to name it my second favourite album of 2013 so far (Tegan and Sara getting the honour of being #1 of course). New Annie is very, very good. Not quite her best, but it's still pretty infectious.

Love this. Admittedly I was pretty underwhelmed on first listen, until it occurred to me that I still had the song stuck in my head. Really nice to have her back, I've been obsessing over her second album in particular lately.
