This can only be a good thing in my opinion. A lot of the song selections in Season 2 were hideously uninspired at the best of times and just felt like they'd sing any old shit that landed in the US top 10.

Misha for me is still the only one delivering solid performance, and equally one of very few that I see being able to be marketed as an actual artist. I hope all the rumours of being an utter nightmare behind the scenes are kinda true too, it'd only make me love her more. She's effectively Kelly in junior form, which is just marvelous. I liked Marcus too. But this has nothing to do with the singing. Kitty was a marvelous hot mess as well. The entire Alice In Wonderland thing was just brilliant. I think I adore her now. Everyone else is still a bit rubbish. The Risk were decent. Sophie sounded like a deflating whale at times. Frankie's hair probably has woodland creatures living it. Rhythmix had Nelly Furtado weeping from her cave. Craig was good, as was Sami. Johnny will be a full on drag act in a few weeks. My internet died during Janet's performance, for which I am eternally grateful. Rhythmix and Nu-Vibe bottom 2 perhaps? Also Kelly needs to stop saying 'PUT IT DOWN'. Last week it was amazing. This week it got repetitive and annoying. And let us just ignore Louis saying 'swagger'. Oh Louis.

Indeed. Zoe was the best thing about the first one. This was enjoyable enough last time round though, or at least as a nice interval between the proper series'.

Though I am of course very much so offended you haven't already checked it out considering I posted about it on my now WORLD FAMOUS blog. Yes, a shame Noah & The Whale have left this a bit late. It's certainly much better than 'Life Is Life' Thanks Mikey! Is this all you like or are we just shocked at Beyonce's entry/position? For the sake of humanity, please tell me it's the latter. Thanks. I'm not all that familiar with your tastes I'll admit Luke, so I'd suggest just sort of starting at the top of my chart and working your way down I suppose. My predictions were Rhythmix, Sami, James and Sophie. So clearly I know nothing. Very pleased Louis actually made a sensible decision for once though, though it did get me worried that something had gone very wrong with the world. Tulisa is dead to me. There is no point having two fairly similar boybands in the show as they'll just eat into each other's fanbases and Rhythmix speak for themselves. Knew it was between Amelia and Sophie, but I was still under the impression Sophie's lack of existing would guarantee her elimination. Matt was as cuntish as ever.

I'd say there's a good chance they'll throw in a controversial exit somewhere, or otherwise it has to be asked what the point of it all is because as much as I like this BIG TWIST, it's really just a massive waste of our time. I still think Rhythmix are a fairly guaranteed exit from the groups but I wouldn't be surprised to see her send home 2 Shoes or Nu-Vibe either. If any girl would challenge Sophie to go home, I'd have expected it to be Misha before the performances, but she killed it tonight and it's clearly between Amelia and Sophie. Overs, I'm still saying Sami but quietly hoping it'll be Jonjo. I'd say James is a fair bet with the boys, with Marcus as the only other real contender to go home. I love everything about that picture. Niall's serial killer face, Liam somehow managing to look like the least attractive member of the band, Louis' homosexuality becoming more and more apparent with each passing day. Everything is marvelous.

Is it wrong that I'm fully TEAM MERCEDES with this? I dunno, I take far too much pleasure in people pissing on Rachel's dreams. It's good to see both Mercedes and Mike getting some storylines though, the latter's scene with his mother was very nicely done. I do wish Tina was actually a vampire though. She'd be such a more interesting character. Hoping Mercedes doesn't just casually in two episodes time or something, I honestly don't get what the point of firing Santana was in 'Purple Piano Project' if she just returns like that. Kurt storyline is sort of grating. Beiste still amazing, and Emma still kind of annoying, but the ginger supremacists was a bit brilliant. Good episode, hyped up a bit too much though.

As a twist, I quite like it. It's certainly nowhere near as shit as I expected. As much as I did like the image of Cheryl Cole waltzing back in with four acts she couldn't give a shit about and calling a Tulisa 'a second rate me' at every chance she got. I imagine Sophie and Rhythmix are guaranteed exits. As is Sami too really. Not sure with the boys though.

If This Is Love vs. Forever Is Over Up vs. Here Standing Keep Her vs. Ego Issues vs. No One Lies vs. One Shot Work vs. Wordshaker Chasing Lights vs. Denial Set Me Off vs. Open Up Fall vs. Lose Control Vulnerable vs. Not Good Enough Why Me, Why Now vs. Deeper Just Can't Get Enough vs. 2 am I'd say 6-6 is probably fair enough, I think both albums are reasonably equal in terms of quality, though I'd say 'Chasing Lights' probably has the edge.

It use to change daily but I've been stuck on Una for a good year or so now. 01 Una 02 Rochelle 03 Mollie 04 Frankie/Vanessa Mind you, in my head The Saturdays are completely different as to what they probably are in real life. I like to pretend that Una is a crazy Irish drunk with anger problems, that Rochelle is a crazy mass-murdering psycho bitch, that Mollie can barely spell her own name, that Frankie casually sleeps around the music industry and that Vanessa is effectively like Edith from Downton Abbey, the forgotten dowdy one of the group that no one cares for. I find this version of events to much more exciting than the real thing.

On the whole I'm pleased with this outcome, whilst I can't prove she's innocent, you equally can't prove she's guilty considering the flaws in the trial. And I think I'd prefer they release a potentially guilty person than lock up a potentially innocent one.

Boys: I genuinely don't mind Frankie you know. He's a bit of a knob admittedly, but he's cute all the same. I quite like biscuit factory boy and Marcus too. Properly love James though, he's gorgeous. I was at one point very worried Gary was going to ruin everything and not put anyone attractive through. Thought Gary and Robbie together was rather superb, they are now effectively a married couple and the fact they didn't snog at the end is a grave disappointment. I am however slightly concerned at the number of times Gary said the boys touched him, and following Gary saying he was going to be on the boys all day, well.... Girls: Love Mischa and her ever changing weave. Have no idea who Sophie is, and I rather like Amelia Lily too. I uqite liked the Melanie girl too, but really there was a whole bunch of blonde girls in this category who nobody knew who they were and who therefore nobody gave a shit about. Hate Janet though. It's like her face offends me. We don't need Diana Vickers, let alone a second rate one. And I refuse to accept 'POOR ME, I LIVE IN A FIELD' as a sob-story. (Because I'm claiming it as my own next years). Overs: Or 'The Elderly' as I like to think of them. I suggest sacking Louis and just making Sinitta the judge. Bit of a shame Carolynne didn't get through, but the lack of airtime always suggested this. Surprised he let Sami go, since I think she's the only one who he has any real chance of going all that far with. Love Johnny Robinson though, I want him to sing a Girls Aloud medley at some point. Gutted at Goldie quitting, there could have been so much amazingness to come out of that. Groups: Two Shoes are amazing. This is all. Tulisa's game of musical chairs is getting a bit boring though. I half expect her to keep changing them every week from now on, to the extent that by week 5, one of her bands will consist of Sinitta, Goldie, herself and homeless person they picked off the street. Give it a rest woman. The other groups barely registered with me. Hate judges houses on the whole. I miss the days when they were rapped in quickly in less than two hours in one night. Though we did get to see Sinitta under a net and Jennifer Hudson & Kelly Rowland having a bitch about Katy Perry I suppose (I like to think they do this every Saturday night). I want the BIG TWIST to involve Tulisa going mental and swapping round most of the contestants for the UMPTEENTH time.

Despite my general annoyance at her existence, I've always rather liked 'Who You Are'. But I think it'd be so much better if sung by someone else, or at the very least if she didn't over-sing it so horribly and nasally.

HIYA 'Doubt' is just gorgeous. I quite liked 'House' from her too, but this is just so subtly executed. I think the little summery PopJustice did on it summed it up perfectly. 'You Don't Want To Dance With Me' is fantastic. Britt's vocals shine through perfectly. 'Children' is just an insane mess, but I love it regardless. Poor VV. I'm gutted she doesn't seem to be calling this album DE-VEL-OP-MENT.
