  1. Overload (Metronomy vs Tatyana Remix) will be available at midnight, UK time. Absolutely loving the single cover, and the fact that they've went back into their archives for this:
  2. Too Lost In You has been certified gold (400k units)! https://www.bpi.co.uk/award/12812-402-1 In 2019, it was #4 in their Top 20, but clearly, it has now overtaken Freak Like Me (last update for this was 379,000, April 2021).
  3. I hated the album reworks. I think Strung Out and Paperbag were redone because they were leaked quite a bit before the album release. SO unfortunate, as I loved them in their original forms.
  4. Wow! I had no idea. Tragic to think of what they'd became... :o
  5. It'd be cool if they spiced things up and went with one of the unreleased demos next (before an Overload remix just prior to the album release), but I'm not sure they'd be polished enough for that? Two Overload remixes in a row would be a bit disappointing.
  6. Mutya back in the Studio with the folks behind Black Valentine Nice! I love Black Valentine. I also love how active she's been on the solo front lately. Another track coming soon, apparently:
  7. In a dream world, Island will spoil us with a Three anniversary reissue including a whole bonus disc of unreleased songs. They recorded loads during those album sessions. Although, I don't know how realistic those expectations are though...
  8. Very respectable indeed! Especially since, beyond the release of a couple of remixes/a couple of interviews, the band aren't exactly active at the moment.
  9. Same Old Story's performance on Spotify over the past week: 255, 277 (July 1st) 277, 613 (July 2nd) 296, 187 (July 3rd) 307, 748 (July 4th) 317 (July 5th - I lost the exact figure for this one!) 327,874 (July 6th - 2 weeks since release) Seems to have levelled off to a 10k daily average, aided by its inclusion on Spotify's POLLEN playlist. I'll stick to weekly updates on this from now on (if anyone's still interested, that is!)
  10. It reminded me of this stunning performance: qomPAdZkU9U
  11. Today's Spotify update: 255, 277 (+23, 279) Hopefully it stays on Spotify's POLLEN playlist come tomorrow. :cheer:
  12. A few more updates since not much else is going on at the moment: About You Now Apple Music: #520 United Kingdom (+107) Push The Button iTunes: #74 Ireland (NE) #1360 United Kingdom (NE) Too Lost In You iTunes: #1469 United Kingdom (NE)
  13. Agreed, Jay! New Year is such an underrated beauty. Speaking of which: jrCdyhd1yLg
  14. The desktop version of Spotify provides a lot more information than the mobile version! Not that it means much - but still good to see: Freak Like Me iTunes: #59 Ireland
  15. Another couple of days of healthy gains: Tuesday - 206,705 (+29,791) Wednesday - 231,998 (+25,293) #7 on their Spotify Top 10.
  16. I love The Show so much. One of their very, very best.
  17. Friday was their biggest day on Spotify yet! :cheer: @1409063340979195904
  18. Another positive write-up for Same Old Story. This time in Mixmag: https://mixmag.net/read/blood-orange-sugaba...garage-ukg-news
  19. 153,064 today and #9 on their Spotify Top 10!
  20. I always forget what a gorgeous song This Is Not Real Love is. Love the snippet of Careless Whisper, too. @1408835778684329984
  21. And back up to 3 million+ monthly listeners (3,020,319)! :cheer:
  22. Love to see this! You're right - I don't think Run For Cover ever reached those highs.
  23. Hope we get more footage like this! @1408088727352643591
  24. Up to 121,858! That playlisting really worked.
  25. Keisha was always a pro when it came to marketing their latest album... and by the next campaign or so she'd confess that she actually disliked a lot of the material. I totally agree that About A Girl with Keisha would've been more successful, Jay! They were long past their peak by that point, but I still think it could've been a decent sized hit. Same with the album, as much as Sweet 7 was so far removed from what Sugababes stood for. I don't think they'd have released Wear My Kiss had Keisha stayed either. Thank You For The Heartbreak (with a single mix) followed by No More You would've maintained at least some of the Sugababes sound (even if their songwriting was notably absent). The fact that us fans can be optimistic again. At long last.
