Was so excited to see this! Have always loved the Soul Sound artwork and it's satisfying to see it now sit amongst the other three singles on digital platforms. I really wish they'd upload the gorgeous Run For Cover and Soul Sound 'Acoustic Radio One Sessions' from CD1. I contacted London about this, but doubt I'll hear anything back.

My thoughts exactly! In related news, their date is sold out: @1530623469083303938 :w00t:
  3. So here for this! Great idea. :cheer:
  4. Hour long set confirmed! 21:35 - 22:35 June 22nd. https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/line...-up-2022/?stage
  5. Knew we could count on you to clear things up, Jay! It makes far more sense that Round Round is closer to Gold.

I actually think they'll do About You Now! I'm not really here for it, but after Mutya mentioned it in a recent interview, as well as it being listed specifically in the press release for the Music Showcase Friday at York Racecourse... ...I really think it's a strong possibility.
  7. Amazing news that Freak is finally Gold! Using the latest figures from OCC updates and BPI certifications, I've been able to locate sales for 13 of their top 20 singles, as compiled by the OCC in October 2021 (which only provided sales for the top 4, unfortunately). Where possible, I've also included the last known (and fairly recent) official updates to give a sense of how certain singles are 'selling': 1. About You Now (1.02m - October 2021) *908k October 2020* 2. Push The Button (775k - October 2021) *638k October 2019* 3. Too Lost In You (407k - October 2021) *certified Gold/400k July 2021* 4. Freak Like Me (400k - certified Gold May 2022) *387k October 2021* 5. Round Round (277k - August 2020) *273k August 2017* 6. Hole In The Head (>231k - certified Silver/200k April 2015) 7. Ugly (>231k - certified Silver/200k April 2017) 8. Overload (231k - September 2021) *certified Silver/200k March 2019* 9. Get Sexy (200k - certified Silver May 2017) 10. Girls (200k - certified Silver 2013) 11. About A Girl (>156.2k) 12. Stronger (>156.2k) 13. Walk This Way (156.2k August 2019) It's good to know that Hole In The Head and Ugly are, at the very least, now officially higher than 231k (beyond their certifications, we've had no other updates on these in 10+ years...). Round Round's growth is really disappointing - only 4k in 3 years!? Do we think OCC have been inaccurate in their reporting, or might most of its streaming be coming from outside the UK? Curious as to how far About A Girl is from 200k. I didn't include any ancient stats here, but it was on 138,546 in April 2010.
  8. Hi everyone. A quick update for you all! :) After some gentle nudging, BPI have finally updated Catfights' certification to Gold. It had previously been stuck at Silver, despite crossing 100k in 2009. https://www.bpi.co.uk/award/1233-402-2
  9. New interview with Jade in NME: https://www.nme.com/features/tv-interviews/...gababes-3081433
  10. Yep - he responded to my comment on his Insta: Would've been a much bolder choice indeed! Sorry - should have clarified that it's literally a tiny snippet from a live performance, unfortunately. But they definitely performed it as 2.0. I think they had quite a few shows pre-Freak Like me where they had to rely on the One Touch material alone.
  11. Enjoy! 100%. Amazing package.
  12. She sounds amazing, as always. But give us that Real Girl reissue!
  13. Let's keep manifesting this. With today's announcement (and potentially quite a few more shows to follow), there's more reason than ever for Island/Universal to re-release their back catalogue. :w00t: I like Shape, but the whole Craig David/Sting situation really tainted its release for me. When he started being difficult about appearing in the video and they got wind that he'd be releasing with Craig David instead, they should've dropped Shape... there was much better sitting on the album anyway.

I'm so happy for them. Being able to use the Sugababes name again is far more persuasive when it comes to big events like this. I agree - I really think they're gearing up to release this album in the not too distant future. :w00t: They're already picking up good press about this: https://www.gaytimes.co.uk/culture/sugababe...ty-hoopla-2022/ My favourite part of the GT article: https://diymag.com/2021/10/28/sugababes-to-...a-festival-2022 https://www.stereoboard.com/content/view/233532/9
  15. Wow! That's made my day. So glad it opened you up to the amazing/crazy world of Sugababes. Have never seen the Liquid News interview, but definitely had one of their very first interviews, which was backstage at the MTV Europe Awards Nominations in September 2001. Will try and dig that out, but I have a horrible feeling it might be lost... Will be sure to share anything else I come across that's been hidden away in storage! Been there, done that (several times).
  16. Finally came across the 2002 official press release from their website!
  17. It's my channel! I came across some old CDs so thought I'd share them with you all. Used the premiere function to add a bit of suspense. Mutya's vocals in the Ugly performance. :o Had forgotten all about that.
  18. Also guilty of this. They just sit there looking all pretty... and unplayed.  It looks like the next Plastic Pop release is Cinderella's Eyes! Gives me even more hope for Ghosts.
  19. 110,161 views since its upload in July! Not bad at all.
  20. Some random iTunes updates: About You Now - #83 (Ireland) Too Lost In You - #98 (UK)
  21. That was brutal! Two of my absolute favourite lead singles. But Freak Like Me has to be the winner.
  22. Blue would've been a great single! I love Shape, but a more upbeat single to close the era would've kept their run of Top 10s. Supernatural or Virgin Sexy (bit too risky??) would've worked well, also.

  24. With thanks to Liam.k and Jay for the idea! All you need to do is highlight your favourite from the first and second singles from the given album.
