Good point! And I really admire them for that. If they'd been as selective as the Spice Girls, there's no chance we'd have gotten All Around The World.
  2. #48 (from #28) in this week's UK Official Albums Sales Chart Top 100. No sign of One Touch.

I can't bring myself to watch any of the 4.0 performances/interviews. It's just too traumatic. What a disaster...
  4. Looking at its worldwide performance, Freak Like Me did okay - nothing special at all. Strange, given how massive it was in the UK. Perhaps it was a bit of a shock to the system, especially in Europe where One Touch was even bigger than it was in the UK? Or maybe that sound just wasn't as popular outside the UK? Round Round really turned things... round () for them in terms of their worldwide presence. On another note, here I go promoting this amazing account again! @1451227724450775040 Fantastic achievement for Overload! But annoying that the 20 Year Remaster isn't linked with the original version. It'll lose some exposure on Spotify thanks to this oversight.
  5. A definite downgrade from the perfection of the Three b-sides in terms of quality and selection, but I do adore Like The Weather. It always shocked me that it never made the final tracklist. And if the December 2005 MTV article that was published just before Mutya left is anything to go by, we were due a few more b-sides, which is unfortunate. Like The Weather (by far the best) Favourite Song Future Shokk! Come Together/I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor Living For The Weekend (Live Radio 1 session)
  6. Great topic! The Three era truly was impeccable. Nothing will ever top that for me. Disturbed (just takes the lead) Colder In The Rain/Someone In My Bed (I love these songs - can't separate them, sorry!) This Ain't A Party Thing Down Down Who Like you said, Run_For_Cover, Disturbed and Colder In The Rain (and, for me, Someone In My Bed) are up there with the very best of their material. I would've had all three of them on the album itself - in fact, Someone In My Bed was only removed at the last minute!
  7. Love to hear this! It really is held in such high regard. Would be nice if it continued to sell a fair few copies over the coming months/years.
  8. Keep them coming, please! :cheer:  Snap!
  9. Showing Ron Tom some much deserved love. So cute. @1450551317773045773
  10. Let's cheer ourselves up with a reminder of this iconic moment: @1450739352276021253
  11. I doubt anyone cares, but here goes! Down to #28 (from #18) in this week's UK Official Albums Sales Chart Top 100.

So good to see her back on her channel, but sad that it's under these circumstances.

Don't feel bad. It was easily my least favourite on the album. What a turnaround!

Yep, I don't think so either, unfortunately. I'm not sure anything from the original album would've got them a Top 20 by that point in the campaign. I think their only hope of that would've been through an album re-release with the new mixes/songs.

I happened to come across the following (recent) job advertisement for London Records, where the candidate will be "working alongside the Label Manager to identify and exploit catalogue repertoire from artists such as Bananarama, Fine Young Cannibals, Orbital, Goldie, Sugababes, Shakespears Sister, Happy Mondays and many more". They'll also be "working with the legal and royalties team to identify any unreleased repertoire". This is really pleasing to see, as it suggests we might get more from their London years beyond the One Touch reissue. From what I can remember, we know that Boys Will Be Boys, Date, and Stop, Look, Listen are still locked away in the vaults... I don't think it's likely these will be released anytime soon, but it gives me hope that at least All Around The World/The Other Side will make it to streaming. I think it's also quite likely that we'll get the full One Touch single packages on digital platforms - something similar to what Fascination did with The Saturdays (and their revamped single packages) would be amazing.
  16. This is a must. They need to go all out. Take all of our money, Queens. Seriously, though, I hope they're creative when it comes to the available formats. They know we'll snap up pretty much anything on offer.
  17.  I quite like Keisha's adamance that she'll never leave her twenties. Let's do the same.

Also hear the former. I love Promises. The girls really wanted that as a single, didn't they?
  19. It's a beauty. Hope it helped.

The collection is complete! All we need now are the HD remasters for New Year and Run For Cover. SNGnF1JmuR8
  21. Nothing like a good bit of self-promo. Nah - can't take credit! But they do a wonderful job of promoting the band's achievements.

A remix done very well! I always liked One Touch, but this has taken it to the level of love.
  23. I should've pointed out the podcast is called 'Off Piste'. Anyway, I'm glad she's happy. I'll always adore 2.0.
  24. Multiple formats, individual album covers, etc.
  25. A new podcast with Heidi. Nothing of note, really. She talks... skiing. And then talks about the time they (3.0) performed with James Brown and someone (I'm thinking Amelle) was out of tune the entire time: https://open.spotify.com/episode/1b6YTZiLYGIOQKrTuWytLW
