    Does that sample Otis Redding?
  2. I saw Tom Jones live at Isle of Wight... he was incredible! Awful list so far btw.
  3. Yes, but the topic specifically states 'most influential artists of the last 20 years'. Whilst Dangerous, HIStory & Invincible (bleugh) where globally sucessfull, they where never career defining albums. Maybe with the exception of the production on Dangerous, I'd say that his three major albums, Thriller, Bad & Off The Wall are far more influential amongst artists such as those you have mentioned, than his 90's and early 00's output.

    Tyron you shouldn't bother..
  5. :manson: Nothing against you or Alanis, but she just isn't influential at all. She's hardly up there with the likes of female singers such as Janis Joplin & Ann Wilson.
  6. You're right, you are no real expert.
  7. Just LOL at 90% of the artists being mentioned in this thread. Can I just add, if we're considering artists who have been influential within the last 20 years, then I would just ignore Michael Jackson immediately.

So I guess I'm the only one that lol'd out loud at 'Chair' Lloyd. :( "You Know I'm No Good" should go to #1! It's her best one.

    IT'S A BOB DYLAN SONG.
  10. :| If I'm being honest, it starts of kinda promising. It looks a lot more edgy than the last franchise was, BUT THEN the trailer ends looking like an advert for a Spiderman game for an Xbox 360?!?! What's with the dodgy cgi?!
  11. Isn't it because the hocrux is dependant on the body/object it inhabits, therefore as the Basilisk didn't kill Harry (/or 'destroy his body'), it managed to remain intact?
  12. She definitely is! :o She plays her exactly like how I imagined her to be in the books.
  13. I think as a whole, the Malfoy family are BRILLIANT in this. Jason Isaacs put on a very good performance, you could just hear it in his voice and see in his facial expressions of how brilliantly he managed to portray Lucius' struggles throughout both parts of the Deathly Hallows. Same as Helen McCrory, she put on an excellent performance as well (and for once, I wasn't actually cringing at Tom Felton's awful 'acting', he's greatly improved). The clip of the was worked into the film well I thought.
  14. Just watched it again in 3D. I don't think that the 3D effects actually contributed much towards the film itself, I preferred it more in 2D if anything.
  15. Can't really be bothered to do a proper review yet, but: Rickman and Maggie where INCREDIBLE. I always struggled to picture an emotional/weeping Snape when reading the last book, but Rickman portrayed it brilliantly. Maggie Smith is my new "Gilf"-crush.

JHEEZ. I don't even hate Beyonce. I even own B'Day for some mad and strange reason, but I'm just expressing what I saw last night. Why does everyone take it so PERSONALLY? :o
  23. Meh I like the video.

Bar Halo, Girls & Irreplaceable, the audience just didn't seem interested at all. I think the loudest cheer of her set went to Wayne Rooney when he appeared behind her on one of the videos.
