  1. Glassheart>>>>>>>>>>>> Trouble>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Collide

This should have been the lead, or she should have at least released this in the massive gap between 'Collide' and 'Trouble'.

I don't think it would have worked as the lead single because it would have alienated a lot of her old fanbase. Trouble probably won't be a massive hit in its own right but will hopefully sell the album which is what they're after.

I really like the font too. It's different and looks really classy. Here's a better quality picture of the official artwork, the one posted above was fan-made.

    Press release:

Leona Lewis returns with her brand new single - ‘Trouble’ featuring Childish Gambino

Seven years on from first stepping into the limelight and some 20 million single and album sales later, global singing sensation Leona Lewis returns with her brand new, much anticipated single Trouble on 7th October. The single is taken from Leona’s forthcoming third album Glassheart, which is released the following week on 14th October.

Trouble is an anguished epic journey that reveals ethereal, haunting tones that simultaneously showcase the sheer power and intimacy of Leona’s incredible voice. Trouble was written by a stellar cast of home grown talent; Emeli Sande, Naughty Boy, Craze and Hoax, Fraser T Smith and Leona herself, resulting in a standout track that she is incredibly passionate about.

Trouble was produced by Fraser T Smith and Naughty Boy.

Of the track Leona said, ‘Trouble tells the story of love going bad and becoming destructive, aspects of which we can all relate to. It’s a deeply emotional and poignant song that I have a real connection to.’

US rapper Childish Gambino brings an extra something special to the track with his featured rap. Leona said, ‘I wanted someone who was creative and poetic and witty and he ticks all those boxes and compliments the record perfectly.’

Trouble is the first track to be released from Leona’s third album Glassheart. A real labour of love, Leona has spent time putting together an album that she is immensely proud of. It was during a recording session with esteemed producer Fraser T Smith (Adele, Florence & The Machine, Plan B, Britney Spears) that Leona really found the soul of Glassheart, so much so that she brought Fraser on board to exec-produce the whole album. The result is an inspired and passionate follow-up to her previous two Number 1 albums.

Trouble marks the highly anticipated return of the UK’s Number 1 vocalist and, as only Leona can, delivers a superior world class performance that was well worth the wait.

Trouble feat. Childish Gambino is released on the October 7th on Syco Music.

Long wait is over for Leona's Trouble

LEONA LEWIS’s new single Trouble has been a long time coming.

But the wait should be worth it.

The song, co-written with Emeli Sande, debuts on radio next Tuesday and looks bound to be a hit.

It sounds a lot like Scot Emeli’s music but also like the Massive Attack songs Unfinished Sympathy and Teardrop.

At the end of the track is a decent guest rap from Childish Gambino, which will help to shake off Leona’s safe image.

And talking of change, Leona herself looks to have had an interesting makeover.

Her third album, Glassheart, was originally due out in November last year but is now set for release on October 14.

Trouble will definitely make people interested in the full album.

That's the thing. It's all sounding a bit TOO good! I really, really hope it's as good as it's made out to be (literally every reviewer seems to be buzzing about it). I have no doubts on Leona's part, it's just the whole moody-ness of the track and whether it'll sound right for her.

It's been described as "moody", "epic", "strings", "sharp lyrics" which if you think about it, could describe Bleeding Love to a tee. Popjustice also comments that her vocal is "compelling and dramatic" so I think this will be a perfect track for her.
