Well I'm loving the sound of the whole album. It is very throwback (Hair just screams Belinda Carlisle circa Heaven Is A Place On Earth to me) but with a contemporary edge. There's nothing worse for me than great songs with weak choruses and she never fails in that department. I do think some of the tracks we've heard are over-produced which would be my only criticism so far.

Not as good as Edge Of Glory for me but still great! :) The chorus is absolutely fantastic. I wish her enunciation was better throughout though as the lyrics are difficult to make out at times and the production is a bit too loud.

The single mix has been pushed back to 29th May for some reason. No doubt the album version will have fallen by then so it probably won't get a new peak. Here's the page on Amazon.

Her vocals were insane in that acoustic version. She sung with so much passion and emotion.

The verses aren't up to much but the rest of the song is amazing. I always forget how great her voice is.

Loved both performances and she came across so well in the interview. :)

I agree with those that say it should stay on Radio 1 but Reggie needs to go. He is the main reason I don't listen to it much because he's just so annoying and smug.

No Judas was dying on US radio so I think that's why they rushed Edge Of Glory there. I don't think they expected it to have the reaction it has had worldwide though. She's promoting now so I don't know when she'll get time to do a video, probably when it's too late no doubt.

So this is A-Listed on Radio 1 as well as Judas. Very strange situation at the moment! :huh:

Apparently this may just be the next US single and they may go with Hair in the UK once Judas is over. I hope not, they really should capitalise on the popularity of Edge and release it worldwide.

She'll be fine for a while. You don't drop someone who has achieved a 10x platinum album and a 2x platinum album in the UK.

How anyone can call The Edge Of Glory "mediocre" is beyond me.

Now this is an anthem! :o Wow, completely blown away. Amazing chorus and the middle 8 is all kinds of epic.
