I think it has much more emotion than the studio version actually. After getting over the shock of the chorus being different, I actually prefer it now and it's definitely the best track on the album for me. :)

Hopefully it's not remixed too much. Looking forward to it! :D

Stunning album! I absolutely love Turning Tables, Set Fire to the Rain, Someone Like You and Take It All especially. She's performing at the BRITs too. :D

Non-mover at #10 this week. Seventh week in top 10! Amazed by how well this has sold considering there was no promo at all and her profile isn't that big at the moment.

I feel the opposite. The acoustic version doesn't really do much for me at all but I adore the studio version.

I thought that for a while and then one day it just crept up on me and I liked it. If it doesn't she has plenty of better material anyway. :)

Jessie is not far off Rihanna now. I love Grenade but I think I would rather Jessie get #1.

Do It Like A Dude was designed to be polarising and divide people. I think the main intention was to get her name out there. Whatever you think of it, people are discussing it (and they were prior to all the recent press about her) so it has served its purpose. Jessie even says in her Sound of 2011 interview that she loves that a lot of people didn't get it and a lot of people did. I'm sure it will be on her album but I'd be surprised if there are any similar songs as all the other music I've heard from her is nothing like it.

Agreed. If you just judge her on Do It Like A Dude then I can see why people would dislike her as it's a very polarising song. But if you listen to songs like Price Tag, Who You Are, Nobody's Perfect, Mama Knows Best - and watch her live performances on Youtube, I think it would convert a lot of people.
