So basically, just this thought popped into my head after hearing that McFly shifted an extra 300k sales of the newspaper of their free album giveaway, which I thought was quite poor for a 2 million selling newspaper. Wasn't Coldplay's and Radiohead's more recent 'free giveaway' much more higher? Was there any other acts? I am just referring to UK only free sales, if we are able to calculate them? Anyone have any idea?
