It comes down to not liking a single tune or artist (with the exception of Sinead O'Connor) in the playlist. I supposedly fit into the Radio 2 demographic, this playlist could not be further from my musical tastes. All the playlist seems to include is generic, MOR blandness. How can anyone with any musical taste listen to this station?. I understand I am too old for Radio 1, but I at least can pick a few tunes from their playlist that I like. I'll stick to 6Music thanks.

Sorry - I'm aware of six of them - I missed out on Don't Stop the Music initially - thats the Michael Jackson one isn't it? I see that I don't know any Rihanna ballads. I've no interest to back and listen to them.

Speaking as someone who dosen't like Rihanna or Britney... I can name around 8 Britney tracks and only 5 Rihanna tracks. I think the general public would have a little more awareness of Britney, not that either of them can be classed alongside Madonna or Kylie yet.

So David Bowie will chart after all. It would be fantastic for the charts if he managed to go number 1 this week (I know it's highly unlikely though). Imagine the renewed interest in charts if something got to number 1 that wasn't for the kids.
