I didn’t understand why so many scenes got the laughs, most of the them weren’t funny, at least not laugh out loud funny. Amusing at best. I liked the mood and the funny direction but audience reaction was very confusing at times.

Wait, was there something after the credits? :’) We walked out right away. I didn’t feel the ending has potential to be that divisive.

You would be surprised how many people don’t use Instagram. I really don’t understand how people are so nonchalant and basically accepting big corp using their data. It’s the most valuable thing that currently exists and you’re fine giving it out for free to companies that do not and will never have your best interests at heart? Okay. Also government issued IDs?! Are you uploading them on social media too? Internet is supposed to be anonymous, it’s the most powerful tool for building communities to, for example, criticize, plan and fight regimes. Now you’re just placing 100% of trust and control over yourself into whatever government your politically illiterate neighbours might choose. That’s not how the world works at this stage in time, the age of naïveté is over, fascism is on the rise and we have to keep governments in check at all times. That’s the biggest fear and concern I have over this whole shitshow personally.

For a world that thinks children are the future (or insert any campaign slogan that promotes having children purely in order to produce more workers), we would rather have iPads, or now governments, do it.

That first episode was such a mess and could’ve been a mini challenge or an add-on. I couldn’t tell anyone apart, no one stood out or had solo parts longer than 5 seconds. Adora’s runway in the sewing challenge though holyyyyyyy that was spectacular. Mellody and her marvel arts and crafts should’ve been in the bottom. Very glad Poseidon stayed and WHAT AN OUTFIT TO LEAVE ON for Chanel LMAO. “See you soon. I’m an English teacher” must be one of the funniest exit lines I’ve seen ever. They are really pushing Mellody this season, she was NOWHERE NEAR the reading challenge win WTF. Desiree does televised roasts in Brazil ALL THE TIME and she was an objectively the best in the challenge. I’m glad at least they didn’t announce her main challenge win first because Poseidon slayed it very hard and didn’t have that HIDEOUS pre-reveal outfit that should be destroyed with earth scorched and all footage burned. In fact Poseidon’s outfit was the best of the night which goes to show last week is just a fluke.

Read the book pretty much immediately when it came out and it was such a treat with all the Easter eggs and connections that it explores. I’m still very excited to see how this turns out even though I feel like all the Hinger Games movie adaptations have been worse than the books.

Finished the last episode last week and it was as terrible as the rest of the season. CGI 4-year old baby, multiple plot holes, dubbed over VIPs that brought nothing to the table (I feel like they were some actual IRL sponsors/producers that wanted a small role due to their contributions), the ending, the fact that the actors didn’t even get to meet Cate despite being hyped over her appearance. I’m interested to see what monstrosity the US will come up with, I imagine they will completely ruin the whole idea and make it about something else entirely. As per usual.

Not Bosco being depressed about not making it to the top this week during Untucked. That’s a lot of emotions for safe :’) Irene continues to be my favourite here overall, her snatch game was great and that maid joke was incredible. But Ginger is unstoppable and I wish the production didn’t try to invent a universe in which she flops a snatch game because it just does not exist in 2025. Also interesting how they all completely forgot All Stars 2 existed with “3 for 3” win comment lol Jorgeous’ runway was to die for, holyyyyyy Mistress is good TV but she makes my blood boil, so unnecessarily nasty. Her picking on the only other big (pre-ozempic era) queen reads insecure above all.

In Berlin she was getting the biggest venue - Uber Arena - with 17k capacity. Billie and Blackpink sold out two nights in there in minutes, in comparison.
