I would really like to think people making those decisions are stupid but this is very intentional and targeted. I know it’s not exactly the topic but I wanted to mention that this anti-trans rhetoric is already trickling down to mainland Europe. Berlin (!!!) police just raided a tiny local trans community center sending a dozen cars and treating it more severely than any serious drug bust. All while they were there merely sharing hormones since German health insurance + most doctors are transphobic and don’t cover or prescribe hormones to trans people.
