That’s a bit awkward. ‘elédan’ means ‘ur mum’ in Ashtonese.

I like the current semi tiebreak rules. In the semi you should stand out as much as possible in order to qualify, in the final it’s more about crossover appeal. I wonder what song came 20th in semi 2.

YES! He’s a multitalented diva sensation boots the house DOWN! The song is from the ‘I cannot wait to use the internet’ album he released last year and it’s amazing. 12 of those were mine. Ugh.

Maybe Spotify should work with local governments to make it more difficult for ticket touters to exist instead of creating even more scarcity.

Maybe spotify should fix their much bigger problems before doing useless PR stunts like these. They will still not pay artists enough, they will still use fake artists with identical music to boost overall streams and withhold money from real musicians, they will still continue deleting smaller artist accounts if a scammer adds your music to bot playlists, there will still be no way to delete music that falsely uses your feature (because it’s quite easy to do it still, especially for smaller artists, and there is zero verification required for that!). This is a deeply problematic company with extremely shitty practices and I shall be using hyperbole and assuming the worst given their history.

Brb buying 15 different Taylor single versions to have a possibility get on that list.

@blacksquare has a twin Ö

This is by far her best song to date honestly

Living in the present girlies >>>>

Okay My Coldfield

This will not solve the issue of there simply not being enough tickets for everyone who would want to attend the event sometimes. The only solution is for artists to offer multiple dates but it will never going to happen because ✨exclusivity✨ creates FOMO and even more hype and attention and money. Let’s gamify getting concert tickets even more now. ✨Only on Spotify ✨ This world is doomed lol

01 DARA - Bangaranga 02 Salvador Sobral - Amar Pelos Dois 03 Måneskin - Zitti E Buoni 04 Nemo - The Code 05 Kalush Orchestra - Stefania 06 JJ - Wasted Love 07 Duncan Laurence - Arcade 08 Jamala - 1944 09 Netta - Toy 10 Loreen - Tattoo The bottom 2 is quite interchangeable. I only didn’t place Netta at the bottom because I loved the song and saw it live in Lisbon, although since then I never went back to it. And now even more for obvious reasons. Loreen was okay but the weakest of packages overall. Top 3 is some of the best winners in the entire history of the contest. Maybe it’ll change with time but Dara is firmly at the top so far. I cannot get enough.

Oops

There are not that many pop songs that can get into alties’ votes this month. I think it’s an easy top 5.

Yes, the undeniable conclusion of the listenthroughs was that Aeroche is DNQing with 0 points. :(

This is getting released only in a month in Germany 😭

Oh, of course not. Thanks for compiling it!

Queer people are the backbone of the pop music industry especially when it comes to fandoms, so it’s disheartening to see how so few of us are actually represented in the industry. I also thought the list would grow bigger in 2010s and 2020s but alas it’s not the case.

BANGARANGA BANGARANGA BANGARANGA BANGARANGA BANGARANGA

This pathetic list proves how atrocious the situation is in the industry and who is getting pushed by major labels etc. How embarrassing.

Pagasa proving to be the MVP of yet another contest this year.

My obsession with Bangaranga is growing further and further. It stays such an exciting song, even after a LOT of listens. What a winner.
