  5. Everything. It’s an exorbitant amount of money that nobody should have. Since that is clearly not possible in our society, I strongly believe it should then come with responsibilities like being a good role model for people as well as accountability and deeper levels of transparency. It’s way too dangerous to let one person or non-government company to own this amount of money. Look at the techno fascist state that US is slowly devolving into. But I digress, this is a topic for somewhere else x I find it really fascinating (in a bad way) that people of her caliber don’t try to do more good and just prefer to hoard wealth. I know she donates but in this political climate she has the power to make a difference just speaking out more. Of course it comes with a lot of caveats - she’s a woman after all and the world is sexist af. She could easily live in luxury not releasing any music for the rest of her life though. Given her status and power, looking at such lazy derivative attempts at songs, I wonder what is even the point of them, artistically they are not even adding much to the album and would probably fit better as a separate EP. I mean what the f*** is Cleveland!? At the very best it’s a lost demo that leaks in 2046 in time for the album’s 20-year anniversary :’)
  6. I sent The Birds part 1 to BJSC back in 2012 (?) and it came 8th. I think Rolling Stone could’ve surprised you as well. High for This is a classic, D.D. is a really interesting song too. Montreal is the only song in his entire repertoire that I know of where he sings in French and it’s сunt. But I could very well be wrong due to my bias as I was obsessed with the mixtapes when they were coming out.
  7. Perhaps we would indeed have a different conversation if she wasn’t releasing the same 5 songs in 25 different variants and deluxe Taylor editions talking about the same things every year pandering towards the same teenage demographic as a grown woman. Get that coin and hope she writes whatever songs she likes etc. but let’s not pretend she’s still the same artist as she was before this mega stardom. Unreasonably large wealth tends to stop artists from being creative and pushing the boundaries. At the same time, I have much higher expectations because they can do literally whatever they want. No need to take this so close to heart, people will indeed enjoy whatever they want to enjoy but I find it really hard to respect this lazy uninspired dump from a literal billionaire. Especially after the Sheeran saga.
  8. Not Swifties coming for children’s music to prove that her latest songs are actually not that bad. Classy behaviour.
  9. Voted 6 times for the motorcycle lesbian. The shows production value is quite crazy compared to other selections.
  10. knock on Kelce’s wood it won’t get vetoed 🤞
  11. 01 MARINA - Froot 02 Milica Pavlović - Crna jutra (Balkan S&M) 03 Dido - Take My Hand 04 Robyn - Hang With Me 05 Adele - Rolling in the Deep 06 Kate Bush - The Man With the Child in His Eyes 07 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Me and My Imagination 08 Agnes - EGO 09 Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault 10 Jessie Ware - If You're Never Gonna Move 11 Leona Lewis - Come Alive This was a really good group, I liked the entire top 10. Marina is untouchable here, I hope the mentor is not going to pussy out of entering her sensational debut album, just like The Weeknd’s mentor last time x
  12. Fav iamamiwhoami - chasing kites New Order - Age of Consent Ultravox - The Voice M83 - Kim & Jessie Depeche Mode - Ghosts Again Fontaines D.C. - Jackie Down the Line Texas - I Don't Want a Lover Bananarama - Look on the Floor (Hypnotic Tango) Years & Years - All For You Sade - Your Love is King Vengaboys - 1999 (I Wanna Go Back) Least fav Yammywhammy’s song is very good although probably still not in the top 5 ever. New Order and Ultravox providing bawps, and I forgot about that M83 song - it’s sounding okay but a little bit dated nowadays. That bottom 3 was really boring unfortunately. Can we already pull the plug on Vengaboys? :’)
  13. I changed my sang to something else I discovered yesterday. Soz Bra but technically they are French x
  14. Mariah still the overall fave despite Celine winning every category. That’s what I call camp x
  15. I confirmed something I’ve had in my potentials playlist at position 1 for about a year but never had the courage to send. No idea how it will get perceived because it’s much more minimalist than most of my entries x
  16. Can I have Tinashe?
  17. The world.
  18. I’m surprised there’s no vinyl release with 27 variants. Yet.
  19. Yeah I also see Regina winning. Those last couple of weeks were spectacular for her whereas Matraka lost a lot of the momentum. I’m surprised they didn’t put her in the bottom for the makeover by default (if you’re not in the top, you’re in the bottom, etc). Perhaps she’s winning in the end and someone with 2 bottom placements would probably not look good for a winner to have. I also don’t like Matraka so I’d personally go for Regina :’) Alexis was so funny in this episode and season overall. Maybe it’s the language or experience but this time she was giving mother.
