Dagny’s album is the best thing that’s been released this year to be honest. Bye Bye Baby would’ve been a great entry for whoever tried to confirm it! Please Look at Me is *even better* though, in my opinion!

Oh wow I can’t believe it. First win since 2008... ridiculous, even if there was a six or seven year gap with me not entering in there! Thanks to all who voted for me. I know I rarely post here anymore but I do always look forward to BJSC, as I’ve made some incredible artist/song discoveries over the past few years. Thanks also to Lew for the voting - even if it did look like I might be beaten at the last hurdle!

Thanks again for the latest batch of votes for Bhangra... It's a long time since I won with the (Dixie) Chicks, so I'll not be counting any chickens just yet.

It didn't strike me as one when I first heard it either, but then my form over the past five years hasn't been brilliant, so maybe I'm finally re-learning!

I feel quietly confident Bhangra can do well this time... Good to see it get a good reaction and a 100% qualifying prediction record.

Pretty disappointed with Glowie not qualifying - you can’t call this contest sometimes as I was pretty sure that’d do well. Only my second non-qualifier of 2018 though I think so can’t complain too much.

Oh this is going down to the wire for Bhangra...
