Croatia 2012
This gets rather blown away by Slovenia's far superior entry unfortunately. :( I do like this though.

Italy 2012
LOVE LOVE LOVE. I think I love this even more than 'Per Sempre'. Gahhh. Italy to win.

Green Room [2012]
When is the draw for the running order? We normally have a confirmed date by now. That day always makes me slightly wet!

The Battle of the Cypriots!
I think Greece will do better, but I prefer Cyprus. Never know though, who'd have thought Turkey and Armenia would fail to qualify last year?!
-
Greece 2012
Oh I love this. I fully expect this and 'La La Love' to sail through to the final, and the better live vocal will secure a top ten finish whilst the other finishes lower half. I think it's more likely that Cyprus will finish the lower of the two as well, unfortunately. :(

Serbia 2012
Actually I've changed my mind slightly on this... It really isn't that good, and I think we're probably overestimating it slightly, like most of us did with Sakis in 2009. This will certainly finish top ten, but I actually think 6th-10th might be more likely.

Odds Thread [2012]
If we were still in the days of televoting only, the grannies would probably walk it seeing as they're from Russia. Didn't 'Get You' finish seventh or something in the televoting and bottom in the jury vote last year? I reckon they could well top the televote this year and finish somewhere between 21st and 26th with the juries. Hopefully. That'd secure a mid-table finish for them, or higher, depending on how well they do with the public.

Moldova 2012
Reasonable song, and he's fit. Reminds me of a cross between 'Ovo Je Balkan' and Israel's 2003 entry.

How much of a Eurovison bellwether are you?
Oh god, this will be hard... 2000: United Kingdom: Nicki French - Don't Play That Song Again (16th) 2001: France: Natasha St-Pier - Je N'ai Que Mon Ame (4th) / Greece: Antique - Die for You (3rd) 2002: United Kingdom: Jessica Garlick - Come Back (3rd) 2003: Turkey: Sertab Erener - Everyway That I Can (1st) 2004: Belgium: Xandee - One Life (22nd) 2005: Greece: Helena Paparizou - My Number One (1st) 2006: Russia: Dima Bilan - Never Let You Go (2nd) 2007: Moldova: Natalia Barbu - Fight (10th) 2008: Sweden: Charlotte Perrelli - Hero (18th) 2009: Norway: Alexander Rybak - Fairytale (1st) 2010: Croatia: Femminem - Lako Je Sve (DNQ) 2011: Hungary: Kati Wolf - What About My Dreams (22nd) 2012: Italy: Nina Zilli - Per Sempre

Serbia 2012
Hmm...I quite like this, but it's not up there with his previous efforts I feel. :( Shoe-in for a top five finish though.
-
Romania 2012
Absolutely love this! Good choice Romania!
-
United Kingdom 2012
Italy are going to be the big winners with the juries this year, I'm near sure of it! Spain have a good ballad too, but it's not up there with 'Per Sempre' in all honesty. Could this be the year that all of the big five finish in the top half?! When was the last time that happened with the big four/five?

United Kingdom 2012
Have you ever seen Cyndi - I'll Leave My Heart? The song that Scooch and Barrowman knocked into second. :arrr:
-
Russia 2012
Okay, I love this. Cannot stop watching the lollable performance. That small one looks so confused at the start!
-
United Kingdom 2012
I literally can't bring myself to watch anything from the 2007 MYMU after Cyndi-gate. I'm still not over that.
-
Green Room [2012]
What's happened to eurovision.tv?! All I'm getting is a page full of spam links.

United Kingdom 2012
Pixie Lott nearly went? Good god, who is this Katie woman? She needs to be shot.

Melodifestivalen 2012 / ANDRA CHANSEN/FINAL
I downloaded it last week...I guess that had some impact?! I can't imagine a song needing much more than three or four downloads to make the top 1000 would it?! Also...I hope 'Euphoria' doesn't become a 'Satellite' and not be available for download until about three days after the Eurovision (if it qualifies and does well). :manson:
-
Russia 2012
Can't get this bloody song out of my head. :arrr:
-
Slovakia 2012
This is actually reasonable from Slovakia. Not amazing, but could well scrape through to the final.
-
Spain 2012
Good song, but this will get completely overshadowed by the far superior 'Per Sempre' if drawn anywhere near it.
-
Italy 2012
Excellent that it's definitely 'Per Sempre'. A bilingual version would be good actually, and I can genuinely see this winning.

Odds Thread [2012]
That Danny Saucedo is absolutely terrible. Such a cringefest. Loreen had better be selected!
-
United Kingdom 2012
I really don't know... I'm not massively hopeful, but I reckon the jury vote will do well for us. Excited to hear the song anyway!
