France is good, but I can't really see it winning after having a good long think. I'm thinking another Patricia Kaas-esque result for the French, and their third decent result in a row.

United Kingdom 2011
WE CAN. We can f***ing win with this!!! Best chance since Jessica Garlick easily! Russia are my only concern now tbh, but that didn't sound amazing from that low quality clip we have. No doubt that'll all change when the studio version is released though.

I have this feeling in the back of my mind too, but still excited nonetheless! I'll be pretty pissed when I hear it anyway, so will probably quite like it regardless.

France 2011
Me too...they're the new favourites with this!
-
Croatia 2011
Aww I quite liked Break a Leg, but I suppose no one outside of the UK would really understand that it's actually a phrase used to wish good luck. I can imagine this is going to be an absolute BELTER though!
-
Hungary 2011
Ooh great song! Hope it does well and manages to qualify, though I'm not 100%.
-
France 2011
I think this will actually do really well! Definitely going to score highly with the juries, based on their recent voting patterns. Well, Jade Ewen and Patricia Kaas scored well from them anyway, and this is certainly very 'classy' too.

Croatia 2011
Can't stop listening. New favourite by FAR.
-
Armenia 2011
Well this is very mehhh. Worst Armenian entry to date I think. :( Although that Anytime You Leave song was pretty lame too. Actually think they might miss the top ten with this too...

Croatia 2011
Amazing song! Utterly AMAZING! It starts very much like Kate Ryan's 'Who Do You Love' as well. We needed a good Euro anthem like this! Definitely one of my favourites now, and I hope she sings it in English during the final, which I should imagine she will.

Russia 2011
God I know. He's ORGASMIC!!!
-
Russia 2011
This will be amazing, and we're going back to Russia in 2012 clearly!

Helena Paparizou - Baby It's Over
After hearing this in high quality for the first time, I can officially say it's even more amazing and anthemic than before. One of the best songs I've heard in f***ing ages!!!

Slovakia 2011
Massive high hopes for this. Could be Slovakia's best result ever. Only good result ever in fact.

Lost and Forgotten was hideous, but if you look at its points breakdown, you can see how it got where it did... Azerbaijan 3 Moldova 10 Belarus 12 Ukraine 10 Armenia 10 Israel 10 Estonia 10 Latvia 8 Lithuania 5 It also got points from Turkey and Slovakia, but that only equalled ten points. The thing with Russia is that they're virtually guaranteed 80 points every year regardless of what they sent, and even with jury votes included. If it was merely televotes, they'd be getting ten or 12 from all of the above countries, so another 20 or so would be added on. Indeed, when I made my full prediction for last year's contest, it looked like this: 01. Armenia 219 02. Germany 211 03. Greece 200 04. Turkey 167 05. Romania 150 06. Azerbaijan 142 07. Denmark 136 08. Israel 127 09. Belgium 101 10. Ireland 98 11. Russia 97 12. Serbia 86 13. Norway 80 14. Ukraine 76 15. Georgia 59 16. Iceland 58 17. Bosnia-Herzegovina 46 18. Albania 43 19. Moldova 37 20. Cyprus 35 21. Spain 24 22. Belarus 22 23. United Kingdom 19 24. Portugal 16 25. France 13 I wasn't too far out with Russia! We won't comment on much of the rest though.

Greece are up there on history alone. There is no way they'll be troubling the top ten this year! Well...the quality all round isn't exactly amazing this year, so they actually could. I'm hoping for something good from Azerbaijan. Hope they don't win though, they're clearly going to do a Russia and keep sending immense songs until they do...
-
Greece 2011
What on EARTH is this?! Nikki Ponte was amazing! The UK surely can't give this 12 points again? Obviously it'll get a high televote, but I'd be surprised if our jury give this anything. Opa was actually pretty good, and definitely memorable.

Your rankings of 2011 songs
Ok, so all of a sudden my three firm favourites are - in order - Austria, Estonia and Denmark. Never thought an Austrian entry would become one of my favourites at all, but it's utterly fantastic and could easily come top five or win for them if the draw is right. Estonia is a great song, but I fear it could be the fan favourite that fails to qualify. After that it's Norway and Finland atm I think.

Keisha Buchanan - Debut Album Discussion - 2012
Does anyone REALLY see her getting a number one? Especially with this latest leak? :/ She's more Nadine Coyle than Cheryl Cole let's be honest...
-
Italy 2011 - entry selected!
Well it's certainly very Italian sounding...I think? It's a decent song, and I can see it doing very well with the juries. Not sure it's going to be fighting for a top ten position, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it finish 11-15th.

I LOVED that song!!! Better than their 2010 offering, that's for sure.
