  1. I wouldn't be all that surprised if Greece were forced to withdraw, and Wikipedia is saying they might have to but mehhh...at least we'll be able to give a different country a high score!
  2. Wait for the live shows next week...they'll be getting 11/12m average and a peak even higher than that. And the final will probably peak at 16m or more...

Lena's been ahead on that Google thing for months hasn't she?
  4. How was the promotion on the BBC for it? I never watch anything on BBC1, so haven't noticed if they've been plugging it well or not.
  5. Hmm...well at least they're not banging on about political voting and all that bollocks I suppose. And good job they picked up on our horrendous song choice. Shame they seem to have just skipped over last year's numerous successes though...

Oh dear oh dear...so much for me thinking my predictions were quite good then! Well done Richard though. :P

Can we just assassinate Pete Waterman now and be done with? Errrrm...well presumably if you're classing Germany as part of eastern Europe then there are only about five western countries in it? Complete rubbish.
  8. It won't be the Bank Holiday weekend again as that's when the Champions' League final is, so if they do change the date, they can only really bring it forward a week! Edit: Oh, and the 2012 final is set for 19th May, so I think we can assume that the Eurovision 2012 will be on 26th May. :heehee:
  9. 5.5m (24%) watched on BBC1, with a further 0.3m watching in HD, bringing the total to 5.8m (25.5%). Peaked at 7.8m (43.2%) at around 11pm. Britain's Got Talent got 9.3m however. Last few years: 2009 - 7.8m (35%) * peak: 9.8m (52%) 2008 - 7.1m (35%) * peak: 9.3m (50%) 2007 - 8.7m (40%) * peak: 10.9m (53%) 2006 - 8.2m (37%) * peak: 10.6m 2005 - 7.9m (39%) * peak: 9.4m 2004 - 8.3m (42%) 2003 - 7.9m (38%) * peak: 10.8m 2002 - 7.8m (36%) * peak: 10.9m (54%) 2001 - 6.9m (37%) So the lowest by quite a stretch. :( All figures from Digital Spy forums.
  10. ...had only the finalists voted. Let's say we used the pre-2004 method still, and only the countries in the final voted. Here are the results:Germany 122Romania 119Greece 112Turkey 107Azerbaijan 106Armenia 106Georgia 86Belgium 78Ukraine 78Denmark 76France 64Russia 61Spain 44Israel 37Albania 35Bosnia-Herzegovina 31Serbia 31Portugal 31Moldova 27Iceland 26Norway 18Belarus 17Ireland 15Cyprus 13United Kingdom 10And before the final votes - from Denmark - the top six would've looked like this! :oGreece 112Romania 111Germany 110Armenia 106Azerbaijan 104Turkey 101Gahhh I miss the days of closeness like this!
  11. Oh yeah. :o So we'll have 11 coming from one semi and ten from another? Could get a bit messy...unless we go back down to 24 countries again, or they let Turkey auto-qualify, the latter being very unlikely though.
  12. Tesco. 26p. And they're actually quite nice tbh.
  13. Oh and  at this bit... I think I'm meant to be in Norway as we speak...
  14. I recorded it, and am watching it again in an attempt to cure this. :D I hate the couple of weeks after, I always feel a bit...blehhh. :( Still...only a few months until it all starts again! :w00t:

Josh will just disappear into obscurity though, just like all the rest of our Eurovision hopefuls. Except Jade. You know the one actually DID WELL. Come on BBC, do the decent thing for 2011 ffs. :arrr:

I'll close this now so none of you little scoundrels can go and edit your scores. :kink: Haha...and Pavel can re-open it when he comes back and adds them up or whatever.

Yeah Andy Abraham came last...with 14 points. Josh Dubovie is our worst ever showing apart from Jemini...
  18. I can't believe Azerbaijan remained favourites. I would've lengthened their odds substantially after the semi (even if they did end up coming second). Not surprised they didn't pose a threat tonight.
  19. Just out of interest...does anyone know what the odds were after all the songs had been sung tonight? Are they in this thread somewhere?

Shame Ireland did so badly, but still quite a bit better than the UK. I honestly did think Niamh was going to do a lot better though tonight!
  21. Yeah it was. Surely there'll be no more of him now!

Fairytale's back in the top 100? Wasn't expecting that!
  23. Yes. Yes that's exactly who I think he is. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL etc.
  24. Mikey...if you have the power to ban it, please do it.
  25. Still astounded at how poorly Croatia and Slovakia did, I really am. I was certain Croatia would only have missed out by two or three points. :o
