Has that NANO track been slightly revamped? I only say this because it doesn't sound as "try hard" as it did when I last heard it in March, and the chorus isn't quite as poppy. Still, I did prefer it to that awful Bengtsson song that won Melodifestivalen...

I was a big fan of all six Sugababes, however why are MKS persisting with this legal action? Whichever members release a song as the "Sugababes" will do f*** all commercially anyway, so if they're making music for the fans/their own enjoyment, why don't they just get on with it under the MKS name instead? It's four years since 'Flatline' fell flat in a chart that was far easier to get a hit out of and I certainly don't see a Sugababes 5.0/1.0 doing any better. And 'Flatine' was a seriously GOOD song. Hope I'm wrong!

Had my first run through of the second semi final. Some good stuff so will be difficult deciding my top five at least... Also I've just looked at all the votes from the last contest. Can't believe I had a DECENT LEAD after the first few votes. Shame I couldn't get the first top ten for Bhangra since about 2008!

Having a listen through of semi two at the moment. Already a few songs I'll listen to again, so a good start. Hoping Tarkan can make it through safely though!

Oh this thread is bringing back the memories. It's hard to believe this is almost ten years ago! To me, I don't think my entries have changed all that much as I try and send songs that I'm liking at the time, although the Dixie Chicks came two years after release so perhaps I was just going for the win. Glad I did though. Haven't even come top three since!

Oh this looks good - will give it a go. How is the length of the song measured (MP3 that is submitted/Spotify etc.)? Also does it have to be bang on 3:00 or less (no 3:01-3:05s allowed)?

Bookies really think it's a foregone conclusion this year - even more so than last year! I knew Russia wouldn't win last year, but I can't see Italy being beaten this year. They're overestimating Sweden too.

It's certainly possible that Australia can finish low down. The song is nothing special at all, and like people have mentioned, they're only being highly predicted by people based upon the past couple of years. I remember in 2014 many people thought Italy and Azerbaijan were shoe-ins for top 10/15 (probably based on their performances from recent years), but both crashed in the final.

I can't see it myself. Their lowest result since 2013 beckons if you ask me! Interested to hear his live vocals for the high notes as well, seeing as he barely sung any of them at Melfest!
