  1. just announce a split, I've had enough now. I think i'm done.
  2. they could do a big single, standard pop video, usual promo slots, record an album, release it with another single, and not spend more than 250k, if the endorsement deals and maybe a theatre tour also made them 750k per year, they could still get paid 100k each and cover the cost of the record.
  3. Up

its a great pop song, but i don't listen to it that much anymore. intact, i probably listen to IFIL more :/ but at the time it was amazing and it sealed the deal for me and the sats.
  4. to be fair, that wouldn't have included royalties from WAU - they wouldn't have received all of that by August 2013. I'd say that boost will be in the 2014 year end.
  5. its better on third listen. I get that people were expecting something a little more dance-esque but this is actually more current and doesn't trash the song. It's just something... different. And besides, the original version was perfect and has a beautiful video so you can still focus on that version if your not a fan of the radio remix.
  6. Not Giving Up  My Heart Takes Over <3 Work What Are You Waiting For Gentleman. So 1999.
  7. should she make it 'Album Only' to try and bulk sales into one period, mind you if the remix is what they push, they should get a pre-order for that as a ' - Single' so we actually get a 'peak' week.
  8. this is amazing news, I'm so glad the album will have more than two singles! i doubt this will go top 10, but if promo is strong and airplay is there, this could do an 'Under The Sun'. its an incredible song and is one of the best, if not the best, song she had recorded.
  9. This Morning had Disco Love on Friday for the hair products or clothing section, can't remember which bit
  10. cause the party aint over...

i'd say the decision to release Headlines, as it cashed in on their previous success, rectified the flop and was a relatively cheap product compared to a 12 track album. also - What About Us was a smart move, especially the UK release, with the CTS promo, Sean Paul USP (to get fans to buy even though it was already out four months previously in the US) and the actual 'week of release' campaign. It all ended in a major number one, so despite what many on here say about America being a flop, the whole thing did wonders - short term wonders - in the UK
  13. this is summertime sadness :(
  14. i've relegated the Sean Paul version now, its on my iPhone but not on any of the playlists, I only play the Goddess Rochelle Extended Version or the US single version now, but I do appreciate his additions for nostalgic reasons
  15. 11. What About Us (feat Sean Paul) 12. Disco Love + 10. Gentleman 07. Leave A Light On 11. Not Giving Up 10. Lease My Love 10. 30 Days 07. Anywhere With You 04. Problem With Love - 07. You Don't Have The Right 09. Don't Let Me Dance Alone 09. Somebody Else's Life 10. Wildfire 13. What About Us
  16. they won't get those kind of gigs if nobody knows if they are actually a band
  17. WAU sold at least 500,000 worldwide Disco Love would have sold approx 150,000 by now Gentleman sold 53,000 copies in the UK by August 2013. That makes 703,000 copies that we know of out of these singles. Then you must consider back catalogue sales, international sales (small yes, but still add up including ireland) Not Giving Up had sold over 30,000 copies in its first month on sale in the UK WAYWF must have sold at least 25,000 copies in the UK alone Then add in sales of the track releases' Please Mr Postman and Christmas Wrapping. Then add cherry picks of the greatest hits record Continued precedes of WAU and DL in the iTunes charts in early to late 2014 Then add international sales and other back catalogue sales .... so my number for 2014 may be a little OTT, but not as crazy as you'd have suggested. :P
  18. rochelles wit vibes make this song <3
  19. can i just say that EVEN if they have been dropped, they can release independently or through another label. last year they sold almost 100,000 singles, the year before they sold 750,000 singles - its far from over.

    you got it ^_^

  22. i think because they all speak different asian languages, its being broadcast in english! #RuleBritannia
  23. Melanie C has confirmed today she is a judge on Asia Got Talent! Maybe we could get Mollie on Africa Got Talent!?
  24. i think that kinda show would suit the girls *After* the band. however, i think IACGMOH! would be a good reality show for them - it still gets like 10m viewers compared to the 2m that CBB gets and would be major exposure! i think Mollie or Ness would be great on it! I think Frankie would be a little too fragile for it (especially with two nippers at home!) Roch and Una have enough going on at the moment without adding more!
  25. ssssssh! don't say that!
