the thing is, why would they not release at least an EP or something if they are staying together!? surely it would have made sense to split (if they wanted to) at the GH era, had some fanfare and sold more copies? they are staying together for a reason, whether thats 2 new singles per year, or if thats a one off EP with 4 tracks just for a bit of promo, then thats that. i mean if they are not planning anything in the future, why not just split up or formally nnounce a break or something? it just doesn't make sense I hate this feeling, its the worst in the world. I just want to be excited for a single again, I can't imagine me ever having a fave band again, I mean I got into the Sats at 18 (2008), so its unlikely ill ever feel this kinda fandom/stan excited about an act again in my life :(

ok. so for one - congrats Frankie! While I am sure this was more of a happy surprise, its another* setback in getting the band together (if that is the plan), but at the same time maybe its easier for her to get pregnant now while they are on downtime and Una is also otherwise engaged. Maybe then by Q3 they can come back with an actual comeback single! far too often the start of a new era is billed as a comeback, when in reality they haven't ever been away that long! furthermore, *IF* they are hoping to continue as a recording act, maybe all this solo/family drama would make for a good reality tv show?! i know its been done, but in the UK at least, it worked! they were the #1 show for E! in the UK and 24/7 and CTS clearly helped the Headlines/Missing You and What About Us campaigns no end! If they could land an E4 or ITVEncore series filmed over the year and airing in Q3/4 they could then release a single later this year, with a second single and album in Q1 2016?! Obviously thats all based on them actually wanting The Saturdays to still be a thing, so lets not write them off yet! C'mon and hit me so hard outta nowhere with the 'never gone happen' comments. PS - im also out of the UK from April to August, so its good for me to not have to stress about ordering Universal signed copies!

I'm still throbbing out Not Giving Up almost a year later, I wish the ad libs were in the Radio Mix though! What an injustice to mankind that it did so badly - although a major success compared to Waiting For. Furthermore, Lease My Love still leases my life, both are on my Christmas Playlist in the car, alongside christmas songs and the kinda-christmas songs 2 Become 1, Too Much and Goodbye.

It's a shame Leona left Syco - i'm sure had she still been pally with Simon she'd of been wheeled out on TXF this year and could have performed Ave Maria or Your Hallelujah it would have given the album a boost and also OMS. :(

While yes they could manage to find a song that connects with enough people to gather minor radio support and tv play, another top 20 perhaps 10 wouldn't be out of the question depending on when it was released and against what. However, I think the question has moved on now to Will The Saturdays ever release anything again? They are not big enough to have huge demand for a Reunion Tour in three years time, they struggle to sell a Theatre Tour! After the flop of TBR this year, I doubt a series would be on for The Sats to appear on, it seems like they will just quietly fade away now. They've even released their Greatest Hits, so there wouldn't even be any fanfare to look forward to if they did announce a split or anything.
