I'm really ready for a ballad... like MHTO part 2 with just a bit more vocals shared... Last Call and You Don't Have The Right are amazing but they need a bit more of a commercial radio friendly one. So MHTO would be more apporitate. then get round all the regional radios and get play listed on R2 - f*** off Capital and R1.. theres other ways to have hits ! :)

^ you can't release an instant grat after the album is out... an instant grat is like a "pre order and get one song now" kinda thing :) i think promote the hits for the next few weeks and during the tour then come back with some new single later in the year. I'd like a ballad now.. whats to loose? radio are done, no foreign label will invest in a band thats last two singles bombed... maybe a CIN ballad would be nice and would at least get quite a bit of TV promo plus local radio and radio2 are more likely to get on board with a ballad rather than a big dance song which is aimed at a younger audience.

the tweets the stans are sending the girls are horrible! way too much abuse.\ i think this next album will be an acoustic one or something.. i can't see the label willing to invest anything into the girls now and a christmas record would need a lot of promo on tv

the final nail in the coffin is when NGU was snubbed. without radio on side, and them struggling even for a few tv shows in release week they are screwed. nobody even knew that WAYWF happened! its a non-event outside of team sats.

no offense... but there is no way the girls could get 7 slots the week before release... its not a case of phoning up itv and saying "can we book loose woman, this morning, weekend, gmb etc." they need to be invited on and frankly, they wouldn't want to do it. everybody needs to except this is beyond the girls or even peters powers, they are now past their peak and in decline and there is no interest from tv or radio anymore.

lovely medley. but these midweeks have finished me off. whats the point in going on if all you manage is 2.5k over your biggest sales day of the week. i know i bought the 2 downloads, a standard album, tour edition and box set and I'm sure lots of fans did, yet they can only get #6. the single flopping didn't seem so bad when we thought the album would be top three. f*** it. why bother caring, its over now. there is no future here. what a sad moment

its done really well off the performance. its climbed over 600 places. imagine how it could have been with radio play. the song clearly is liked by the GBP
