why would they not perform Missing You - it was a #3 hit, sold Headlines! and was an airplay #1 for two weeks?!

It wouldn't be as bad if they did a mixture - like if there is scope for two dates in Manchester 02 Apollo (used for Headlines!) thats 7,000 tickets - the size of most medium arenas!

I think their move to sexier dance music did alienate a lot of the young girl fans, who then transferred over to other acts such as LM. But then there is defo a market for the dance act. AFU would have been much bigger if it was their comeback single, just like Notorious would have been much bigger had it been released in a standard way - although thats not their fault. Then of course, My Heart Takes Over came along after two huge dance tracks as a pop/rnb love song and it just was ill-timed. I'd say What About Us was the first time they could just get out an all-appealing dance pop anthem, and was hugely benefited by the whole CTS/OM-US-G. Gentleman was a car crash. Disco Love would have been a perfect follow up to WAU, and would have almost certinaly gone top three and sold around 200,000 by now, the fact that almost 6 months after release its still selling shows that. Anyway, I am so excited for this release, I'm not too worried about the single mix pre-order just yet as the release is so far away, but it would be good if they can do something on TV a week or two before the release - like they did with Stepping Out - to nab some extra pre-orders before release week

the thing is album sales now are not gonna be "fans" so the single will still get a nice big boost in release week from casual buyers and fans who want the new mixes/support. plus if the album went back top 200 for the next six weeks while the single is being promoted it would have chance to double its sales figures

OK... The Video Its clearly not a huge budget, but after the poor sales of LFTW, you can't blame them for economising slightly, but even though they havn't spent a load of money on it, it does look very classy and slick. Simple is better sometimes. I love the lights, its good to have "a thing" about the video that people can relate too/refer too when talking about the video rather than them just randomly dancing. Its a shame the lights didnt switch to multi color during the chorus' but then that would have cost more. They look flawless! The Track I love that they have only made small changes, because the changes work! I love that the vocals are slightly louder too.

I remember Wollies used to do the new release CDs at £0.99 £1.99 or £2.99 instead of the usual £3.99 after release week, and think that iTunes should do new releases at 59p/79p - it would help new entries chart higher
