Living For The Weekend - Fifth Album Discussion (Part 2)
i think there will be another single from LFTW - this time the single *could* outpeak the likes of Higher and Work as the album has only been purchased by fans, not casual buyers

Living For The Weekend - Fifth Album Discussion (Part 2)
I wont be surprised if there won't be another studio album. A Greatest Hits in September 2014 will probably be next

I heart the aloud, but the only reason it didn't have an EP/artwork was cause it was gonna flop and they tried to save face by it not "being a proper single" lol Anyway, JLS clearly didn't want to release Hold Me Down - I guess it was at that point they really considered the split. They've said openly in interviews that the label released it rather than them backing it

shame for JLS - but the song is very much like 'oh that'll do' not much passion in the project at all! so I am not surprised. but it would have been nice for their last single to have done well. Guess they called it quits at the right time.

its a popular song, with R1 support it could have easily been a top five hit

Living For The Weekend - Fifth Album Discussion (Part 2)
Trivial fact is that when AFU re-entered on 01/01/12 at #75 it sold 7,999 copies - its highest since it was #22 - and the highest sales for a #75 in history! :o I think WAU will return Top 100 and i'd imagine Disco Love will rebound a few places too. HOPEFULLY they will get on TOTP - Girls Aloud were always on, and the Sats havn't been on since their slutty FOI performance *slutty costumes

ChasInc. The Saturdays (Part 2)
I love the song and it sounds great, but its gonna be so awkward as a single!! :( Even in MHTO the other girls do the chorus.. Mollie looks bored shitless and Ness is probably thinking "f*** i used to be the main one" If I was them i'd use it as promo for the album only and release Not Giving Up when Frankies back
-
Living For The Weekend - Fifth Album Discussion (Part 2)
no, i think they are saying its a new track. i.e a new track on the album. i love the performance but notice how its mainly just roch and una.. if frankie returns then its gonna be three girls standing there bored with them :/ thats if frankie does come back..

ChasInc. The Saturdays (Part 2)
right! and Frankie isn't needed for promo, plus they avoid the awkwardness/risk of airplay/poor charting. NGU wont flop, its too much of a good song, and because like 5 people in the UK have the album it will definatly sell well as a single, even if its a #9 or #10. I want a #6 now once and for all ha

ChasInc. The Saturdays (Part 2)
I'd hazzard a guess that it will be presented as a promo single for the album, so no EP, single release, music video etc. But perhaps a few performances over Christmas just to drive album sales and then the single will be 'Not Giving Up' with a very much united look as it will mark Frankie's return. I doubt she will do anything with the group this side of christmas.

^ exactly :) Also, Headlines! signings were in the middle of the summer holidays, I went to the Manchester one and it was packed with young kids. October wouldn't have offered that. Anyway.. Disco Love #43 United Kingdom #61 Ireland #252 Estonia #305 Oman What About Us #17 Bahrain #190 Egypt #306 Oman #320 Barbados Gentleman #143 Oman Album: Gentleman - EP #44 Cambodia #232 Vietnam Glad Disco Love hasn't dropped to much - seems to just have been pushed down

Sats iTunes Watch Part 4.
The Voice starts in January next year instead, which could tie in nicely for a performance of 'Not Giving Up' :)

Living For The Weekend - Fifth Album Discussion (Part 2)
4 reasons why that idea is stupid. 01. In order for Frankie to sign the sleeves, the CDs cannot be on the shelf in the shop - or would be with a random Frankie signature on 02. If you have any business sense - you will realize printing sleeve booklets isnt cheap - therefore, it would be a waste of money to print extra sleeves when the album market is so low. 03. The whole reason they offer fans - [fans being the ones that want signed cds] - signed cds and posters from the website is so that they dont have to trapse around the country in release week when they could be on tv/radio/magazine interviews 04. There is no way to determine how many fans would turn up to the signing - therefore if the CDs were signed in advance, they wouldn't know how many to do. Especially as you propose Frankie do this "before getting pregnant" - im pretty sure the album had no title, tracklisting, cover etc. back in February when Frankie actually conceived Parker.
