i think another reason for 'hurt' is to allow it to be nominated in the grammys... its such a song they would eat up, especially in the 'best pop vocal performance' category!! :yahoo:

'Candyman' seems to be a christina favourite, the record company are probably pushing for 'Hurt' thinking it will be another 'Beautiful'!! :D she will get 'Candyman' out at some point if she LOVES it enough... probs get a video after the VMA's!! :yahoo:

oh and a 20 place climb in the CZECH REPUBLIC to #4!! :yahoo:

so i've done a BIG update on the first post with all up to date chart positions... :yahoo: she has ANOTHER #1 debut in switzerland!! debuts top 10 in France [10], Portugal [26] and Sweden [2]!! :yahoo: after a disappointing debut in BELGIUM [31] she now climbs a massive 29 places to #2!! :wub:

of course it would of been even better with 100K + sales BUT what can you do now? nothing, so you have to move on, im sure 'Hurt' will boost the sales massively or at least keep it stable!! :D she is also wiping the floor with higher debuts than all her other albums worldwide so you cant really complain... :yahoo:

nope, thats just based on downloads... ;) an official release date has been released for 'hurt' in the US when it goes to radio and its on 12th Sept, just after the VMA'S!! :wub: i wanted 'Candyman' but 'Hurt' will be MASSIVE!! :yahoo:

NOT commercial enough.... anyway, a german website has recently confirmed that 'hurt' is the 2nd single in germany at least with a supposed release date of 20th October!! so maybe that means 'Hurt' for europe and 'Candyman' for the US seeing as she's on the bubbling under chart? :o

oh and she has now sold 85K+ in the land of OZ... :yahoo: thats just in 10 days!! im so pleased for her... :wub:

another debut in norway at #2 :yahoo: looks like she will have to do with #2 in UK album chart though now, snow patrol are 225 copies ahead... oh well, she is outselling them everywhere else, and 110K + isnt bad for 2 weeks!! :wub:

so the single stays at #8 in US for its 6th week... :o and, drops in canada from #3 to #4, oh well, she has a #1 album there!! ;)
