  1. Well, I've only given it one listen but it's a bit WEIRD. 'When We Were Young' and 'Beautiful' are great but I'm not too convinced on the others yet!

Well that showed us a grand total of nothing but it's only a teaser so I wouldn't worry yet...

So technically they can still sing 'Make You Feel My Love' given that it's not an Adele song at all?

  12. Wes Brown and Darren Gibson?! LOL. Sunderland are welcome to them!
  13. I'm going again on Friday :D :D :D
  14. He looks decent, and we need another decent defender, but £16 million for a 19 year old? Ridiculous. To be honest I'd rather wrap up Sneijder and Young before looking at Jones.

Thanks Rich :cheer: BE JEALOUS. It was amazing. To be honest, I always knew the only member of GA who could actually sing releasing solo material would equal a great result  And as for my #1, being the only person in the entire crowd who seemed to know the song made me realise how great it is, that combined with it's played every ten minutes when I'm at work and therefore it's been driven into my system in the last week

  17. I've now reached the decision that this album is better than 'Humbug' and actually offers a much more rounded and complete look at the band's career. I do highly recommend.

Oh LOL I forgot about that. Good times.
  19. The track ('Swtichblade Smile') is RIDICULOUSLY DULL. Even by Kasabian's standards. Shame really, as 'Fire' and most of the last album had me interested.

I've recently been watching Louis Theroux's episodes on the Westboro Baptist Church. Most fascinating stuff and slightly scary how such things actually exist right underour noses...

This is going to be late again because I has been busy. SORRY
  23. I know I said I'd do this on Saturday, but I forgot :D So the night started with the Pet Shop Boys arriving on stage around 7pm (accommpanied by some scary man on a keyboard - and I don't mean the one that's not Neil Tennant either). They were actually quite good considering I'm not really a fan of theirs and certainly kept the crowd amused for 45 minutes. Then half an hour after they left, around quarter past eight, scary keyboard man was back and counted down to the four lesser members arriving on stage, opening with 'Rule The World' before moving into 'Greatest Day' and a great stage set for 'Hold Up A Light'. After a brief chit chat, the foursome concluded with 'Patience' and 'Shine' before retiring off the stage to allow Sir Robbie to make his dramatic entrance. Now, Robbie may not be the world's best singer, but he damn well knows how to work a crowd. Opening with 'Let Me Entertain You' proved INSPIRED, before Robbie moved into some of his other great hits as well as talking about nothing in between and coming up with a truly inspired song about Manchester; which included the lyrics "Red and Blue all in one place, but if you come to my team we'll punch you in the face" and "I've done some coke and i've slept with a whore, but that's what a super injunction is for". After Prayer 105, as Sir Rob put it, 'Angels' was sung; Robbie left the stage and an interval act of some people climbing a wall appeared for around 5 minutes. Some great theatrics, before the moment everyone had been waiting for. The fivesome appeared at the top of the stage to move into 'The Flood'. They descended down to the main stage (Robbie via his usual theatrics of skydiving) and proceeded to sing four more songs from 'Progress'. Now I'd say this was where the night went a little bit flat, since they clumped all the new stuff together and songs like 'Underground Machine' and 'Pretty Things' didn't exactly ignite a huge crowd interest. After the formalities of "new $h!t" was done, the fivesome sat down around a piano and proved they were in a position to joke about the events of 1996. "15 years ago, when Robbie left the band..." Jason remarked, only to be interrupted with the words "SACKED JASON, I WAS SACKED". As he tried to continue, Rob butted in again "By you as I recalll?" What a hero. After sharing a round of shots, the five of them descended into a piano medley of old school classics including 'A Million Love Songs', 'Babe', 'Everything Changes' and 'Back For Good'. They then left the piano and broke into 'Pray', with all the dancing complete which was a great sight to see the five of them at it. After another brief costume change, they returned with 'Love Love' before igniting the crowd's passion with the ever pleasing 'Never Forget'. They then left the stage as some more theatrics happened, and they returned elevated into the catwalk. The five of them then sat down to begin an acoustic, five piece of Robbie's 'No Regrets' before breaking into 'Relight My Fire', which was, if lacking a better turn of phrase, ON FIRE. They then ended with 'Eight Letters', which was a little bit of a killjoy since it's a bit of a $h!t song but ALAS. A great night was had by all and it was truly superb to see the five of them together again.
  24. Finally my twelve pointer wins a BJSC
