  1. And that seems to be why they did it, forgetting that: A - Not everyone can get MTV (not that they actually play any music on there anymore, you understand), and B - Not everyone has the Internet. And, even if they do, they don't have the time and/or inclination to go to YouTube.
  2. Oh, we will. Well, Noel's gotta do something when Deal or No Deal gets cancelled - due to the Banker getting his P45.

 It didn't make the charts in Britain, so what hope is there for them outside Britain?

They're still gonna lose their next two games: Arsenal away and Liverpool home.
  5. And they'll probably all be on the chart of (Jess checks diary) December 21st.

I never thought that the show could get worse than "Little Britain Abroad" in 2006 (I can barely remember anything save Dawn French playing Vikki's mum and Lou writing "kurfuffle" in stones). Looks like I was wrong.

I didn't see that coming - especially with the stuff he kicked up about the anti-Sol Campbell chants when Spurs and Pompey met a few weeks back.
  8. I will be (mind you, it was almost guaranteed that I would, since my dad was in the Royal Navy at the time of the Falklands War).
  9. I don't know if Oasis count has retro, but Sunday Morning Call from 2000 was absolutely dire (it's possibly the worst song I've heard from them).

Q - Why was Jaunde Ramos upset with his speeding conviction? A - It meant his licence had more points than the team he manages.

Yes - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0194900/. I couldn't believe it when I heard that he was older than Jo (who was born on 1 December 1980). And I wasn't even looking for him - I was trying to discover who the guy playing that Ukrainian that Noah murdered was.

Yes, I am - I've got all six series on DVD. Malcolm was in the first series as well - he told Zoe that he had an inflatable mattress in his house. I saw the first two episodes, didn't like them, and didn't see the rest. I also remember them criticising the "terrorists are getting younger, so the intelligence people should be younger" bit as being unrealistic. Which it wasn't: two of the July 7 bombers (Germaine Lindsey (Kings Cross), and Hasib Hussain (Tavistock Square) were teenagers.
  13. And it'll probably be as bad as the singles one is sounding - only weeks in the Top 40 counted, with the albums between 41-75 reduced to little more than glorified footnotes.
  14. No, 1973 was James C***.
  15. Really? It's the 31st in Lancashire.
  16. IIRC, they weren't too bad in the NF. In Eurovision itself, however…
  17. You mean making No5 - being beaten by Avid Merrion in the process - then falling out of the Top 40 about three weeks later?
  18. At least it's not as bad as Belfast - it's largely in County Antrim, but isn't it's county seat (even though, on the island, only Dublin is bigger).

Whilst I don't doubt you over how many No1s there were in 99, we didn't have a spell of 28 weeks (more than half a year) with only two No1s lasting more than seven days at the top.
  20. Agreed. Especially when you consider some things: What Eurovision qualities did Lordi possess? That Hiro-lookalike from last year? Katrina and the Waves? The Olsen Brothers?
  21. Nine out of 13. (Helps that I've got a season ticket.)

Just to show how bad it is - they could end up playing Southend next year. When they spent £77 million, who thought that could ever happen outside the cups?
  23. if the BBC's recent track record is anything to go by.
  24. Well, we did - until some chav nicked it. When phoning the council to ask for a new one, they basically said that it was our fault (and therefore wouldn't give us a replacement - meaning we have to go to Asda to do it).

I can't even understand why Maya (and Alejandro) were included in the first place. And please tell me that they've got rid of West - it's hard to believe a 17-year-old being played by someone born in 1980.
